Be sure to know the rules of the road before setting off on an e-scooter or e-bike. Stick to the bike lanes or close to the side curb, and stay off pavements. Never ride under the influence, and always wear a helmet to keep your head safe. Oh, and no twin-riding – one person per e-scooter or e-bike at a time.
FIRST TIME ON AN E-SCOOTER?
If you haven’t used an electric scooter before – activate reduced-speed mode in the app. This caps the max speed of the scooter, allowing you to start off slow while learning to operate the vehicle.

Proper parking is a matter of safety and accessibility. Keep yourself informed of your local rules and regulations in regards to e-scooter and e-bike parking – and follow them. Terrible parking system
It happens every time I use Voi recently: no parking spots are available, and I end up having to walk all the way from wherever I find parking to my destination. This makes the total trip slower than simply walking directly. It’s completely frustrating and disappointing. As a result, I’ve decided to cancel my subscription.
Incredibly convenient
The app is intuitive and easy to use, the vehicles are fairly reliable and maintained. The ability to go to a new city and have cheap, electric transport waiting for you is like living in the future.
Avoid
This voi company and service is shocking and has got progressively worse. The app no longer works properly - I can not even manage any subscriptions using it rendering it pointless now. I have had to stop using the scooters. I have also been overcharged. Enough - nice idea but is too much hassle now
Misleading discounts & bad customer service
Voucher codes that are added are not automatically “activated” and the discount is not applied. The app is purposely misleading. Customer service is unhelpful and unresponsive. They often disappear and stop replying.
BEWARE 30 mins is for one trip only.
This was not made clear enough and I was charged for several trips I was under the impression was included in the ‘free 30minutes’ advertised
there is no available park slot
Do not use this ridiculous app , you want to use app prevent 10 min walking but parking cause you 15 min walking. There is no benefit in this app , voi is completely scam
Great but app needs improvement
I really like Voi and the concept behind it. It’s been quite handy in getting me where I need to go most of the time. However, there are a few areas that could be improved: 1. App Navigation: The app’s navigation could be enhanced. It should allow users to input a location, display the route, and guide them to their destination. Additionally, it should notify users of the nearest Voi parking spot and whether that spot has available space or is full. 2. Parking and Charges: If a designated Voi parking spot is full, users should not be charged for the extra time it takes to find an alternative spot. It’s frustrating to be charged for an additional 4 minutes just because I have to search for another parking location, especially when it's farther from my destination. That seems unreasonable.
Don’t work most of the time
Please don’t use these Voi they stop working and then you have to push them where you need to leave the Voi. Terrible service seems like a good idea but stop working and charge you to sort out there terrible product.
Bad (automated?) photo flagging
Parking pictures frequently wrongly flagged as bad. Then, no way to contest them - you are directed to an AI chatbot which gives irrelevant answers and threatens a non-refundable fine.
