Originally tried to install it on an iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, and iPhone X. It wouldn’t even load up on three of the devices. The device that successfully installed wasn’t able to generate anything. Kept getting errors. Since then there seems to be many improvements and bug fixes that have changed my view of the app from a one star up to 4 stars. but I would say a few items still need improvement as follows: - I have the lifetime version and the character reset at the end of the month doesn’t work. - Also would be great if the speed of the voice could be adjusted. - Lastly when playing back the audio exports, there is some time lag where it doesn’t allow you to leave during playback.

It’s ok I guess. There is no way to set the speed of the voices so they sound weird when you play them back.

Update: Thank you, devs, for the prompt action. I have updated my rating accordingly. The speed is also good now. The only issue is the limited number of built-in voices, and most of them lack distinctiveness. But other than that, it looks good! Original review: I tried to unlock the lifetime version which was free today, the paywall screen keeps showing up as if I had consumed all the 20k characters. I’ve only used the app once during the onboarding. That’s it. Plus the app is so freaking slow, or as fast as a snail. Whichever way you want to see it.

Update: good job developer for addressing the bugs that everyone is talking about. It is running smoothly now. I already purchased the lifetime option. It did go through but, once I tried to generate it keeps giving me error and -character on the counter. I suppose to have 20K per month!

The app is advertised as having a promotion for $0.00 for lifetime access and 20k generated voices per month. Tell me why I got charged $22 for lifetime that was suppose to be $0.00? Crapola!

It sounds like a fun app but after doing the lifetime I open the app and wants me to purchase it again and again and again.

for 20,0000 it reverted back to 123. Sometimes it stuck at homescreen. Not happy.

Was great until you realize it only gives you a certain amount of characters to type and want more money after already subscribing to a weekly subscription to be able to write more content. Will not be renewing. Not ideal, would be nice to find at least one app that wasn’t purely a money grab ALSO… it gives you errors when trying to generate audio but seemed to generate them anyway when you look in files. You end up speaking slow than a abruptly fast and sound like your tongue is too big for your mouth or your congested or both just saying. Potential is there will not be renewing.

UPDATE: The issues have been resolved! This is a fun app to play with. I’ve only used the preloaded voices, so I’m interested to try making one once I find a use case for it. Sometimes the intonation and cadence seems a little odd on some voices, particularly in that they seem to speak too quickly to sound natural. I’m not sure if it would be possible to offer additional tweaks to thinks like talking speed or pitch, but that would be very cool. Thanks for the app, and for diligently fixing the errors! Previous review: I was able to generate one voice clip after the tutorial. After that, I was given a “something went wrong” message when I tried to generate another. Every time I opened the app, I was prompted to subscribe again. Then, when I tried to generate, I was given the same message that “Something went wrong” every single time. My number of available characters fluctuates wildly between 19k and -15. The feature to report a problem in the app doesn’t work either— I can tap “send” over and over and nothing happens. I turned my phone off and back on again, to no avail. I deleted and redownloaded the app to see if that would help, and now after the tutorial I’m given a different message. This one says that a subscription has been detected and my account is being updated to reflect that, and to reopen the app. But whether I close the message and wait, or close and reopen the app, I just get that same message again and again. I think there was a support email address listed in the FAQ, but now I can’t even get past that initial message to get into the options and find it again. Nothing works.
