Track it Forward is an affordable volunteer time tracking platform fit for small and large non-profits, schools, universities, museums, government grantees and many other types of organizations. Volunteers can log hours through a kiosk, this free mobile app, or our website.
Each volunteer has access to the following from their mobile device:
Hour log form
Selfie, geo-location & signature submission forms
Personal volunteer timesheet
Goal progress
Event sign ups
In addition, admins also have access to:
Add new volunteers
Review submissions and verifications
Approve and reject hours
Check in & out volunteers from events
Review what volunteers are signed in onsite
Regardless if you are on the free or premium plan, there is NO FEE required to use this application. Every user has a web account, as well, where they have more advanced features available.

Great app

This app has done wonders for our ability to actually schedule and manage volunteers. It would be even better if the app provided more admin functionality.

Revolving Door

TrackitForward would get 5 stars if we could archive inactive volunteers, thereby removing volunteers and adding fresh ones. We work with young people who are in our dormitories for about a year who volunteer with us. We need to keep their records long after they depart since they are still in the area. I use it to log my volunteer hours, but have been unable to use it for those I manage. I love the layout and the ease with which I can enter my hours. Great App!

Poorly designed

Signs me out every few weeks, time sliders are extremely annoying and it would be far easier to just let people type in their time in/time out, signature and selfie are mandatory which made the transition to using this software tedious, overall a pain to use and it bugs out a lot. Don’t use this software if you are an organizer, please.

Could be better

The app logs you out too often. Needs to add biometric access.

Nice and simple

This app makes it easy to keep track of and report my volunteer hours. No muss no fuss. Nice summary too. Easy to use even on my phone.

Posted links do not connect to internet. Unable to copy and paste.

My volunteer group recently posted an event with a zoom link. I was unable to connect to the zoom via the posted link, and could not copy and paste the link either. I was using updated app, iPad Pro, iPhone 13, all failed to connect via the zoom link. Finally I went to track it forward web site and was able to use the link to connect to zoom presentation. Please fix this app!

Perfect for Volunteers Management on the go

I’m not sure why this app has such low reviews. This is the first volunteer manager software that I’ve used with an app! And, I think that’s an amazing perk. I can’t wait to see what future holds for new features.

Needs more options available on the app

Unless I physically log onto a computer, I can’t view reports, my total number of hours or anything much else. The app needs a LOT more flexibility. More options need to be available to make this more user friendly on a mobile device

Terrible!!!

App is constantly updated, keeps all of its bugs despite the “updates” AND always loses your log in credentials after updates.
