Save time and money with Quick Check Mobile.

This application allows you, as a myWaitrose customer, to scan your shopping as you go using your smartphone. Simply scan and pack your items straight into your bags. You’ll see a running total of your spend on your phone, plus you’ll hear a beep to alert you to special offers. When you’ve finished just pay and go, with no need to unpack your bags at the checkout.

You will need a myWaitrose account number to activate this application. If you’re not already a member, simply sign-up at waitrose.com/mywaitrose to receive your account number immediately.

When using this application, you will have a better experience if you connect to the free WiFi available in the majority of our stores.
Occasional rescans
Quick Check was created to make your shopping quicker and easier. As part of the process, we’ll occasionally rescan your shopping, to make sure that you’re being charged correctly. Our Partners will assist you with this process.

Simply visit the Welcome Desk in store. We’ll happily show you how to use Quick Check on your phone.
We may, if necessary, remove access to the application in store, or remove the application from the App Store.

Great when performing

Sadly once lat few weeks there're issues

Does not work every other time

Worst app of all retailers . Waitrose pls sort it .

Camera selection

I have used the app for a while without any issues at all. Until I upgraded to the 14 pro. Now each item takes several seconds to register and quite often I have to start over. Feels like the app is not communicating properly to select the right lense. I don’t know but unusable on this phone . Have re and re installed but no better No response to this so updating in the hope someone listens. Having to use old iPhone 12 for Waitrose shop. Works perfectly. As above you need to look at camera selection coding as iPhone 14 pro is unusable. Thanks

Stopped working

I am now unable to connect to the store. I have deleted and started again but no change. Please fix this. I see I’m not the only one with this problem. I used to love this way of shopping. I shall be avoiding Waitrose during the Christmas period if this app is not fixed.

Waitrose Quick Scan

This app does not work. Every I use it in my local store it just will not allow me to use it. This has been like this for ad long as I can remember.

Server timeout problem still not sorted

Since restarting using this app I am being plagued by “server timeout failure TOSF” notices that can strike at any time during my shop. This requires me to segregate unscanned items so I can scan them at the checkout which inevitably occasionally results in a double charge or no charge. I have been complaining to Waitrose Customer Service since the Summer though nothing seems to have been done to fix it yet.

DMF

This used to work brilliantly, but the last few times won’t connect to the store. I thought it was the notoriously poor Wi-Fi in Canterbury but have seen others connect when I can’t Have deleted and reinstalled app, still didn’t work. Very frustrating.

Redundant app

Unsure why this app isn’t integrated into the Waitrose app, where all the offer and vouchers live? How are you supposed to scan vouchers on your phone? Among big-name shops that offer scan and shop on the phone, Waitrose is surprisingly backwards. A lot of steps for a customer to go through before we can use the app in store. Why isn’t the app ask my permission for my location automatically, instead of me going around the shop entrance looking for a physical QR code? Needs to be more streamlined and customer-centric.

Going to try using this again

I had the quick check app before, but stopped using it, because I do not have a physical card any more and whenever I tried using it, it wanted me to scan a physical card. Thankfully the developers have taken on feedback and provided a way to manually add the My Waitrose card. Looking forward to trying this again!
