There’s a paywall for pirated content, bastards..

Everything is in French and I am either too stupid or there is no option to change the language. I can understand/read French a little, but no option exists to change the language in the app. For the Xbox, this is no problem as it’s in English as standard language, so very strange.

Doesn’t work on iOS and Apple TV. Can’t login and keeps shutting down. Removed it after a couple of tries👎🏻

Hey Wakanim team! Here’s a one star review in hope you will reallypay attention to it. So, my use case is like this: I enjoy watching anime streaming to my Samsung Q70 TV with AirPlay 2. — not happening with your app. I connected to the TV over AirPlay, went back to your app and started playing, but the media only played in the app. Ok, then I tried to stream from the app itself using the button at the top right corner, and this did work, I got the video and the sound on my TV, BUT that’s been on only while the app was in foreground (that’s for the whole of 30 seconds!). The moment my iPhone auto-locked, the playback stopped. And of course no control over the volume sound from my iPhone. This is a total disaster and a terrible user experience. I was really looking forward to switching to Wakanim from Crunchyroll, since you provide so much more titles, but I don’t think I’ll do that with the current streaming implementation. PS I even tried to stream from your web version. Guess what? It did get through to my TV over AirPlay, but only the sound 🤦🏼‍♀️ PS So basically the only way to watch is to set Auto-lock to Never and keep an eye on not switching to other apps, opening the Control Center, etc This is so bad I can’t even find good words for that. PLEASE FIX THE STREAMING

Please separate seasons into sub and dub seasons, because you counted both to one season!!!! Example: 6 dub seasons and 6 sub seasons and I saw total 12 seasons. Oops : P And how can I hide dubbed seasons? I don't like dubbed anime. Maybe a smart suggestion: why dub and sub seasons on one list? Please separate dub and sub seasons and give both an own page.

Not a perfect app by any means, but it does what it needs to do well enough. Quality is good, appreciate the skip OP and ED options. Minor ommissions are lack of keyboard support, lack of portrait mode, and PIP, but that's okay. Some of the bigger flaws include the lack of proper episode resuming. Sometimes I'll watch an Episode and it registers as unwatched, or partially watched, even though I've watched it to the end, even upon doing so a second time, it will still show the old episode. This is annoying for the "Continue Watching" section of ongoing shows especially, since it won't show the latest episode, but the older episode instead. There's also a weird thing with "Fruits Basket (S2)" which just shows an error when you try to select it entirely. There's some minor translation flaws where things are either in French or use English that's a literal translation rather than a contextual translation like "Connection" instead of "Login."

Bonjour, j’ai récemment installé Crunchyroll et je me bataille avec mes parents pour un abonnement, cependant, je regarde quand même les autres plateformes pour m’assurer du meilleur choix et d’un catalogue ouvert, mais quand j’ai téléchargé Wakanim, on me demandait un abonnement, impossible de s’inscrire, j’ai fait mes recherches et les deux plateformes ( Wakanim et Crunchyroll) aurait fusionné ? C’est pour ça que l’on me demande un ABONNEMENT et non pas un compte ? Merci de votre attention, répondez moi si possible 😔😔

En fait comment on s’abonne c’est payant ? Moi j’arrive pas à me connecter c’est la première fois que j’ai cette appli ça veut dire quoi qu’elle est réservée que au abonnés quelqu’un peut m’aider svp ?
