Awesome app for Warmachine wargame!

The app runs SOOOO much better than the old one. Took a little while to work out some of the bugs, but it’s super smooth now. The Rules of the game itself have improved as well now in Mk4, it feels much more fluid compared to mk3 or mk2. The biggest improvement is it’s much easier to grasp for newer players. Only complaint is the rollout speed of new armies. I just want to see the new stuff :)

You need this app to play MK4 since they no longer print cards…..but they want you to pay monthly to have access to more then 6 lists….terrible!

The over all look of the app is great but the only thing making me give a 1 star is the fact that they have not added all the miniatures in their catalog. I have played warmachines/hordes since the original release and have a massive collection of several of the factions. I have collected these for myself and sons who also love the game. We play all of the factions and need a complete card list so we can use any of our miniatures. I hope they correct this in the near future so we can again fully enjoy the game with this app.

This is the best version of Warmachine ever! The app just keeps getting better better, and I highly recommend. I absolutely love the this game and I’m you will as well!

This has been a big improvement over warroom 2. The devs have been quick to take feedback and made lots of awesome QOL changes to the app pretty quickly.

It has exceeded my expectations. I do not want to play a game without using it.

The older version was so much better. I am reticent to write this as they seem to ban all criticism of their products. I have had friends banned from the Facebook groups for any perceived slight against the design. The app is slow and incomplete. It is still a beta but it is slower than it should be at this stage. The design is bad and it hard to use.

This app is a huge improvement over the previous version. The steady rollout of features and factions is turning it into the cornerstone of the Warmachine experience that it is meant to be.

Far too many bugs. 1. The App crashes often. 2. All the in-app links do not work. (it says that this will be fixed later but why are you putting out a highly unpolished app?) 3. Many of the presses for more detail do not respond well 4. Several copy and paste errors in the rules sections. This isn’t acceptable for an official rules source. 5. The customization of warjacks and warcaster is not intuitive. You have to first select the card exit that menu, go to another mode before the option is available. 6. Personal opinion, but the builder itself is ugly and takes way too many presses to get things done. It needs to be far more streamlined. 7. Card info details could be far better. For example, it’s great that they have the special rules in detailed and collapsable, but why aren’t the general icons the same? Why do I need to exit to another menu page to scroll through the ever growing lists if icons to find information? Just either list the general icon info in a collapsable menu on the cards like the special rules or allow a press to go straight to the icon definition. That’s 1 action vs 5 actions and a scroll/find to get info. Same with other general rules like unit movement or warjack options. If they want to make a rule helper tool, make the relevant rules available digitally on the card with easy access. Why are we still using archaic methods outdated years ago? Dynamically generate rule access on the fly to the database. The card feels like I am scrolling through a webpage made 20 years ago. Take a page from modern web/app design. 8. Also what’s with all these confirmation dialogs? This needs to be far more automated. This isn’t even a large app. Why is there a confirmation dialog to download 600mb of data? Was there any proper QA done on this app? It does not feel like that at all. Why are you publishing a crap alpha stage app on the app store? This needs to be way more tested before a public release. Intentions are good. The execution is embarrassing for an official app as the company’s face for a new game.
