This app simply doesn’t work. I don’t understand why they insist on scamming people. You take the trial, then they charge you for the subscription, and after that, they refuse to refund your money for an app that simply doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money on this.
Love the Wavve app. Very easy to use and simply designed for everyone. Quick access to all important info. Also, they offer interesting stories, tips, and contests.
There are no lake contours. I could look at the GPS Maps in my phone and it would serve me better than this app.
We’ve used the app for nearly two months. We found it to be very accurate, easy to use and feature rich. We use this to record trips, as well as to plan new trips. It is primarily a backup to our Raymarine navigation system, but we could easily use this as our primary system if we had to.
I have tried countless times to set up an account to use this app and each attempt fails. Password reset doesn’t work and I keep getting error codes such as “Status code didn't fall within the given range.”
It took a few emails, but the Canadian developer refunded my payment when a glitch caused the subscription to not cancel. It’s nice to see a N. American based developer - I’d definitely recommend trying them for boating navigation.
I saw a description that said it’s like waze except for water, no because they charge for app unlike Waze.
Lake Winnipesaukee in NH and Lake Squam in NH are in the coverage map and neither have any depth or hazard information. That means there is no coverage so it should not be listed. You’re just wasting people’s time. I’m glad there’s a 2 week trial because it’s 100% worthless to the places I go most.
For my purposes of navigation based on depth and bottom contours this is useless. I live in a heavily populated area with depth stations and it doesn’t find any or allow me to choose. It also doesn’t allow me to enter the water level offset myself?? Absolutely useless
Since your upgrade last week I can’t get the wave height anymore. Love the app been awesome. Used it for a year and had the info. It’s a very traveled waterway. Annapolis and Baltimore, Maryland. Maybe something didn’t transfer over in your update.
