Whistler Dash Cam

Same as others. Can’t connect via iOS nor Android. Good thing Costco allows customers to return without a paper receipt regardless how long ago you bought this whistler cam.

Please fix all the problems with iOS updates .

This app worked really well with my Whistler dash cam until I updated to iOS 15. After the update I wasn’t able to remotely access the storage disk like I had been able to in the past. If you can fix this issue in the app or recommend different ways that I could try to make my app work, please let me know.

Very hard to use. Some functions do not work. Connection to app does not work. FAQ, nothing there. Over all the products is terrible.

I’m surprised Costco sold me this!

Doesn’t seem to be a way to get the video on the memory card to the phone. I tap download, it looks like it downloads, but I can’t find the video. Also, why are there so many videos saved to the event folder? That is clogging up the memory card and limits the amount of new video the can can record. Can’t really recommend this cam system. Installed the app on my iPhone. Setup per instructions in the manual, and it works. Because it’s a DVR, the car cam acts as a WiFi server, so you need to connect to it. Yes, that means you are not connected to your usual WiFi connection, just to the car cam. This app has limited controls for the car cam. It’s for fun I guess. For when you’re in the car and want to access the car cam to record videos, but it does work. Read the instructions in the manual before posting a review critical of the app. Inability to follow instructions is on the user, not the app.

I got the dashcam and it works really well but the app doesn’t work properly for iPhone 11. Needs some sort of update.

Im trying to clear up space because the storage is full, but when i delete the videos through the app and then exit the app, when i log back on the videos that i deleted are still there. Basically rendering my dash cam useless because it wont save any more videos, been having this problem since last May.

My dash cam D28RS fails to stay on. After installing on the dash, the cam starts recording but shuts off within 15-30 seconds. I have reset the cam in several occasions but it fails to function.

The camera is useless if it can’t connect to a $1200 iPhone. Will not connect to my iPhone 10, has never been able to. I’ve connected to the WiFi, reset this reset that and still no beans!!! So frustrating! Huge disappointment
