For users who are non-verbal or reluctant communicators symbol-based AAC (Augmentative and alternative communication) offers a way for them to express themselves and communicate their needs and wants.
Create personalised communication grids in minutes with easy to use tools, over 14,000 Widgit Symbols and the ability to add your own pictures.
Users can hear their sentences spoken aloud using the pre-installed iOS text-to-speech voices or add high-quality adult and child voices from the app store.
Widgit Go's user-friendly interface makes it ideal for users of all ages with autism and/or learning difficulties.

DEVELOP LEARNING AND LANGUAGE SKILLS
Widgit Go's interactive grids can be used to develop users learning and language skills both at home and in the classroom. The output of these grids can be exported as PDF files, saved to the device or shared via email or messenger.

The home button is too small, my daughter is unable to press to get back to the main screen, so is unable to use this app unsupported. Also I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall (telephone advice from technical support) as the spoken voice stopped working. Improving this could be a communication game changer for our daughter who has multiple issues, including being non-verbal and autistic.
