Notifications stop coming through after a few weeks, even if you refresh the notification token. Despite all this, it still uses +20% of my battery with hours of background use according to the iPhone settings. Rubbish, uninstall.

Seems decent enough. Not quite as polished as Signal but supports message backups so superior in that area. From v 3.111.1 notifications now work after contacting Wire support and doing the steps below. “… take backup , logout from the app , remove the app , then reinstall and logback in and restore backup.”

Just gives a barely audible click on new messages - people have been saying this for six years but nothing has been done - shame it spoils a potentially useful app

I really love the app, nice to use and it looks so sleek. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because you can’t lock the app or specific chats. If i was able to lock the app it would of been a 5 star review!

Great in all respect bar the fact that only the default sounds work for ringtone & messages. The default Wire message notification is too quiet and the fact that I can't set another makes the app unusable for me. (Note, you can select (put a check mark) on an alternative sound but it is silent). iOS 16.5, IPhone13 (Tried on two separate devices).

I’d be grateful if this can be solved

Great app, but a few improvements needed compared to other apps; I.e Multitasking during calls… you can’t access another app that has video playback during a call without being audibly disconnected from your wire call. Apps like LINE and WhatsApp allow you to be on a call while you for example watch a YouTube video or even just go on social media and see multimedia posts without disruption to your current call. Also screen sharing during call would be great. Other than those things it’s my go to app. Look forward to its future improvements 🫡

Why do gifs play so fast

Eek… would love to use this but seems so buggy… eg adding people to an existing group gives an error….. automated email reporting reply saying little support given to personal users…. Any thoughts?

Messages seem to not be delivered for sometimes hours or until receiver opens the app. Previous to this update has been an excellent messaging app.
