My favorite radio
WPR is my favorite radio. With this app I could listen to WPR every morning on the way driving to work. Love it.

The Wisconsin Public Radio App allows you to listen to WPR’s Ideas Network, News and Classical Network, and 24 Classical Network live, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the WPR streams at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to WPR with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WPR even while traveling!
• Integrated program schedules for every WPR stream!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to WPR in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
On Demand
• Access WPR’s programs easily and quickly.
• DVR-like controls. Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease.
• When listening to programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one or listen to the entire program.
• Easy to access past programs.
• The Wisconsin Public Radio App displays the web page associated with the program or program segment you are listening to On Demand so you can explore for more information.

The nw app from May 2024
This app is good. I just wish WPR would concentrate on more serious stuff than WisconsinLife.
Stream inconsistent
I listen to the livestream often, and it is constantly dropping off, especially when I am using wireless earbuds. Very frustrated.
New format
Dropped app from my phone and computer. Shows do not fit my schedule and are not very news worthy
Not a fan
The app is too confusing. It’s too slow. I cannot find what I really want.
Excellent app
i use the Ondemand part constantly . I enjoy the timer.
Classical Madison
I love this Wisconsin App the music is educational.

Get rid of the commercial when I log onto this app. August 2019 now there are even more commercials please do not download this app it is not worth it, I just deleted it.
