Using the app on two different iOS devices often produces page loading errors. Certain pages won’t load, the app briefly freezes, and then the previous page is displayed. Please fix this problem.

I read the paper thur the State Journal App. It is frequently slow, and freezes up. I love reading the paper but it get annoying with app issues frequently.

Gave up and went back to just reading on the website. Trying to advance a page doesn’t work about 1/3 of the time. It just spins for a while and stays on the same page.

Generally enjoy the digital paper, looks like the print edition which is satisfying. Can the Pages view be updated to default to The Page You’re On instead of the first page, please.

App routinely stops when advancing pages and page won’t load. Often need to close and reopen App to go to next page. No improvement over last several months.

I miss holding my newspaper everyday

I’m still having issues with page changes. I will swipe or arrow to change to the next page and it thinks and doesn’t move on. Then I arrow to next page and it skips a page. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app two different times and it’s still happening.

Over the last month or so this app will freeze for about 10-15 seconds when directed to move to the next page. At that point one of three things will happen. 1. It stays on the same page. 2. It will move 2 or more pages ahead. 3. It will actually do what was requested…move to the next page (although this is rare). My iPad Pro is always up to date and not on some beta OS. The same thing happens on my wife’s iPad Pro. This needs to be fixed. After a quick response from the developer I made sure i was on the latest build. It has not solved my issue. Today (08/09/2024) the app froze and spun on page 19/46. It froze and spun a second time on the same page before jumping ahead.

App starts fine but pages occasionally lock up. Only way to fix is to close App and start over. Has been a problem for several days now.

How I long for the print edition! I live 300 miles away from my hometown of Madison, but I want to keep up with the news. The e-edition is a big disappointment. It’s difficult to use, hard to share. And, when I tried to update to the new app, I received a bill.
