Why educators would use this glitchy, awful app is beyond me

The app fails to load properly on iOS, featuring an unprofessional and outdated layout. Icons appear as question marks, raising concerns about security. It’s not user-friendly or professional.

One of the worst apps to navigate I have ever come across, can never find anything easily, just sends you around in circles. If I designed this I’d be sacked!

Don’t complain here, write to your school. We are not WisPay’s customers, our schools are and as long as our schools are unaware of the absolute dogdirt product, their paid supplier is providing, they won’t seek an alternative. No one has ever downloaded this app because they want to. We’ve had to because our schools have been sold a lie. Shame on you Wise Pay and Community Brands. Your app is barely usable whilst your website sings your own praises. You do not believe your “customers deserve the absolute best we can give”. You believe that cynically serving the school’s finance department will relieve you of any obligation to your users. You are an insult to British innovation and technology. Spend some money on this app before another American tech company steps in.

All my payments to the school get duplicated and in the meantime credited to school account only once. When I tried to contact wisepay they replied that their product is for the school and not for parents directly. What a horrible treatment of the client

This app has so many things going wrong with it I can’t believe it’s been untouched in over a year. The company have rebranded and this is firmly stuck in the past. If you have more than one kid to manage, switching is incredibly difficult and the fact that it can’t send alerts when the balance is low is just so disappointing.

Appalling dog’s dinner of an app. Irritates me that our taxes fund schools who then pay money for this mess. And have you tried contacting WisePay? You can’t do that as a parent. If that doesn’t set alarm bells ringing… we’d like your business but not your feedback!

It’s so bad, not as bad as Reddit though

I’ve tried time and again to log in but it keeps saying, “Failed to register account.” I don’t want to register. I just want to login. Guess I’ll keep using the old-fashioned way - the website.

This has to be the most inefficient school payment processing app ever. Our school used Scopay previously (which also had frustrations) but nothing compared to this user unfriendly, clunky and most challenging of apps. My heart literally sinks when I have to top up a balance or make a payment to school. Bring back Scopay, I say!!!
