With God Daily

I love the content of this app but the usage of the app is clunky, slow and of no value over using the website. In fact I have to use the website instead of the app because the app requires me to login every time I open it. So much potential for a helpful experience here, but it’s not happening.

I am really enjoying this daily devotional, but I still have to login every day. I have reinstalled the app twice and still have the same problem. I emailed a few days ago, but have not heard back yet. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.

Skye’s devotional is 5-star and you should subscribe to it! However the app is clunky and doesn’t scale well on my iPhone 13 Pro; things are misaligned, lower buttons are unreachable, some navigational issues as well

The content is really great and enlightening. The app has some quality features but it doesn’t function well. The audio should be done for each day. It really is my favourite way to learn. The audio does cut out if you let it go to your lock screen, so you can’t really meditate on the passage. Looking forward to some good updates.

My husband and I read them together everyday and our faith and understanding has been deepened. These devos are a huge blessing, thought provoking and challenging.

The stars are a reflection of how bad the app is. The audio hasn’t worked for me for the past 3 days and there’s nowhere in the app for me to submit feedback. I don’t know if this is being fixed. Also the app constantly logs me out which then doesn’t give me notifications to do this daily.

The app is frustrating because it forces you to login in everyday. I don’t see a way to stay logged in. It’s just easier to skip the app altogether and just read the content via the daily emails.

I love the content but the app experience has made me not be a daily reader. Everyday I have to sign in to the app, no feature to remember password or open with Face ID. The layout is ok but having to log in everyday is a hassle.

I love the devotional, it is Biblically sound and refreshingly devoid of Christian Nationalistic nonsense. But the app forces you to log in every single day, it does not save your account info, and it occasionally just stops working for days at a time. Content is excellent, app could use some adjustments.

Thank you for such a simple daily format for devotional Bible Study! The content is so thought provoking & challenges many assumptions I held since childhood. Skye does a great job breaking down large theological concepts into several weeks of study & meditation — not skipping topics or little passages each day. If i wake in the middle of the night, often i will turn on the voice reading of the devotional & it’s such a blessing to medicate in God’s words in the middle if the night too. The use of historical prayers adds to the richness is the teaching. I can’t thank you enough — I too was a person who hated daily devotional… this one is renewal for me!
