I’m really disappointed with this gym. The staff members are consistently rude and unapproachable, which makes for an unpleasant experience every time I visit. On top of that, the gym closes at random times with absolutely no prior notice. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when I plan my day around my workouts. Clear communication and respectful staff should be the bare minimum for a facility like this. Unfortunately, this gym has failed on both.

Took ages to accept payment - why not offer Apple Pay? Tried to call and book, reception can’t book more than 5 days in advance Very stressful as only a few spaces in the class

Whomever designed and built this, needs to be fired!

Genuinely the worst, most useless app I’ve ever downloaded. No initial option to even log in, unless you go through several pages first. Then when you eventually find a page to book activities, it doesn’t let you. Absolute garbage!

New version doesn’t work at all on iPhone 8 with latest available iOS 16

If this was a corporate operation it would have gone bankrupt years ago. It’s only a council, specifically a British council, even more specifically a Scottish local authority, that could preside so proudly over such a poor quality web/app. Really, think about it. Why is it ok for pages not to load, loop back to the start, show inaccurate information or simply not accept Apple Pay etc. I’d even say it was a specialty of West Lothian Council. But no one cares! Welcome to the year 2000.

No way to view or book dance classes but they’re advertised on the website?

I think it’s the terrible that the council shutting down Xcite leisure centres especially as I thought the health and wellbeing of West Lothian communities would be a priority for the West Lothian council instead of changing local street lighting when there was nothing wrong with them

Go to this class every single week now it’s a problem to get booked up a week in advance not good enough
