Overall, this is a fairly enjoyable game (plenty of irritating quirks, but most have those). The ads seem to repeat more often lately to the point of nausea (or deleting the app). Here’s a tip for the developer: If I wasn’t interested in the “Mac Does That” promotion the first 3,000 times, I probably won’t be on time # 3,001. Most of those have been consecutive. Give us a break. If you insist on flooding the app with ads, at least give some variety. Why developers strive to ruin there product is the most difficult puzzle to solve.

I got a new phone and forgot I had this garbage, I thought to myself what in the ever-loving ADS is this nonsense, and now I am here to leave a review and remind you all you don’t have to give your data away for free. There are better word apps that allow you to buy an ad-free version. Update: I requested support for this app and got an auto-reply closing the ticket, saying they do not offer support for this app. So yeah, they do not have any plans to add a way to remove these garbage ads, so don’t even bother downloading it. Add an in-app purchase to stop the incessant and downright obnoxious ads. It wasn’t this bad initially, what’s the point of playing if after each round you are going to pull this.

Below is what I wrote a long time ago. New review: Starting yesterday, I play one game, then the screen comes up very dark gray with a message in black about bonus points which freezes. The only way to make it go away is to turn my ipad off, then on. After 1 more game, it does the same & freezes again. Before this started to happen, when the score is calculating, the gold trophy is way to the right under the platinum one, whereas it used to be about midway between silver & platinum. Old review: I've been playing this game on and off for several years. Today, it is suddenly different. First, I can't see the stats on the far right. I had over 180 winning games with the platinum trophy, which then looked like 18. After winning a few more, looks like 19 instead of 190. The last digit is missing. Then decided to play a different version, but it keeps playing the game below the one I am choosing. I think they revised it but all the kinks aren't worked out. I would have given it a 5 but in its current flawed state, it earns a 2.

This used to be my favorite game app. I took it off my phone because of how much time I spent on it but recently downloaded it again (years later) for stress reduction… sadly there’s nothing more stressful than all these adds. Especially all the Bible related stuff? Like, that’s not why any of us are here… and it’s weird. I would legit pay a small one time fee to never see another add again. At least all these ads will ensure that I hardly use the app this time around, I guess? Hard to want to spend time on it with the near constant interruptions.

I love playing this but honestly something is very wrong. I do spell some words wrong, or my finger slips, but I have noticed sometimes I spell something correctly but it registers as being incorrect. Example “star” is the latest, so frustrating!!!

Love the game but HATE having to reinstall it almost every single time I play. NEVER had this much trouble with any other game.

I’ve played this for years. Now I have had issues that force me to delete and reload. The last two times, the game only worked a few times before official looking, ad pop up scam started warning of things not working on your phone, click here, etc. So sad. This one had to go
