A survey from 2021 found that only 11% of Americans read the Bible daily. I'm not sure how accurate that statistic is but it makes sense to me. The Bible is hard to understand and contains so much information that people don't know where to begin. As a result we find many "defeated Christians" who still struggle with sin, addiction, fear, anxiety, marriage problems, money problems and the list goes on. We believe there is freedom in Christ, but the majority doesn't experience it because of a lack in Bible study.
WordDrop is committed to raising the stats to hopefully 100% of daily Bible readers. We seek to make Bible study fun and easy to understand. We are committed to the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so that all believers in Christ can surrender to the Truth and the Truth will make them free and free indeed.
Pastor Peter O'Connell leads the Bible study content on the app. He has been in ministry since 1998. He served as a Missionary Associate, Youth Pastor and now is the Founding Pastor of Word Drop Church.
