Great idea but...
I teach self-contained middle school students who are moderately impaired. This works on my iPhone but not iPad. Need to label the solar system objects with which group of 10 Fry Words is being tested so that I can use this with my students more effectively and efficiently and so they can use it independently. Finally, make it so more than one kid can put their name in. I made an account for me so I could figure out how it works and now there seems to be no way to change it or add an actual kid. This would be an excellent tool for practice on the bus while riding to field trips and, because of the microphone and speech recognition features with instant reward, for use as a home tool for my students whose parents only read and speak Spanish. This would also be a great COVID-19 resource while we are teaching online during this extended school closure. Update: I have insured my iPad has a constant connection and I am still having the same issue with lack of recognition (I took a video and some pictures this time. I discovered the ‘Home’ button - it looks like a share button so I didn’t realize it was the Home button. Once you tap that button then several options are available including managing users. After hearing from the developer, several of the things I have mentioned are being addressed in the next update hopefully coming out this week. I really like this app and see it’s usefulness in a class like mine so I will stay tuned for the updates!
