To be honest, I didn’t expect this app to be convenient to learn. Astonishingly, I was wrong. It’s very convenient to have such lessons in your pocket. 5 stars deserved

Приложение замечательное, но непонятно, почему остановились на азбуках. Иероглифы с таким приложением учились бы намного быстрее...

With this app, I was able to learn both the katakana and hiragana alphabets in a matter of weeks. It’s an excellent program and really helps hammer in both the written and spoken parts of learning these symbols. And if I do recall it, it was free!

Simple but good. Unfortunately, you can expect the app to crash at some point during a review, specifically when you're inputting a stroke. This has happened about 30% to 50% of the reviews I've done. It's frustrating when you're on #60 of a 100 character review and suddenly have to start over. And it's frustrating that it happens often enough to have you worried about it while working through the content. There are a few smaller bugs I've encountered that are far less annoying. Also, it would be nice to be able to adjust the sensitivity of the stroke recognition. Sometimes I'll input an incorrect stroke and it will be recognized as one that's quite different.

Exactly what I was looking for. Practice drawing kana with demos, practice, tests, and immediate feedback comparing drawn to desired figures. Perfect!

It’s completely free with a few ads but overall I can learn better this way. Drawing each character and listening to them repeatedly helps. 11/10

This app has helped me so much. Being able to both write and read the characters helps a lot with memorization, and it is also fun and engaging to write the characters. There are ads in the app but I don’t consider it a big negative because it’s cheap to remove them and in my opinion it’s totally worth paying the cost. The biggest issue I have currently is if you accidentally draw to the edge of the box the drawing will freeze until you exit the lesson and restart. I’ve only noticed this issue on the iPad, but it’s my reason for reducing my rating slightly.
