This is the best app in the free version, and in principle it is the best. The only negative is that there is no Russian language. There is still a translation on the laptop, but on the phone… But it doesn't cause me any problems. I hope you will add Russian. I wish you good luck and prosperity.❤😌

Great app, maybe the best for iPad, but it really needs offline support.

Best free scriptwriting software I’ve found, multiplatform support (tested also the browser based version on PC, everything worked back and forth smoothly). Very easy to get started on, loads of helpful tools like spellcheck. Spell check. Spell-check? Need to check on that later. Dark theme saves eyes, a blessing for nightly writing. Limited to three scripts on free version. Subscription plan.. is what it is. What needs immediate fixing: alt-shortcuts do not work on Apple’s Smart keyboard (for iPad pro 12.9 gen2). There is no alt-button on this keyboard. Maybe you could make the shortcuts programmable or add support for ”option”-button which is located where alt normally is. The control shortcuts do work, but ctrl+1-5 are hard to find or remember quickly. Other UI improvement suggestions: -Move the actions (scene, character etc.) closer to the bottom, hard to reach on big screen (if not using shortcuts) -Needs a bug report/ feedback button in app -There’s three different symbols for ”saved draft”. Simplify. -Move ”locally saved backups” where the ”save” stuff is located. More intuitive. Keep up the great work! Thanks!

This is poor app for a great service which is very unfortunate. The whole app seems like a afterthought. Everything is shoehorned in and nothing seems to really fit. The app lacks the layout for iPhone X, which underlines the whole ethos of this app. This is very unfortunate since there are really awesome writing apps available for iOS. Unfortunately this truly isn’t one of them.

I sold my car. Stopped going out. I’ve canceled every streaming service that I have. But I would cut off my right arm before I stop subscribing to WriterDuet.

I’ve been using this app for nearly a year now. It’s less buggy on windows, but it definitely does need to be optimized better for IOS devices. When writing screenplays, I encounter a bug where some deleted text won’t actually delete and it prevents me from spacing without having to force close the app and refresh. It’s been manageable for some time, but of course that gets annoying when I’m flowing with my work and have to repeat this process. I also use the book format to take notes or to start chapters that I end up publishing in Wattpad or simply transferring to apple pages; when using quotation marks on my IOS device they will show up backwards if the line has no wording which is odd because opening and ending quotations are a thing. I don’t have to refresh, but I do have to perform various steps to finally get the quotations in their proper form. Please fix!
