WSPR watch

Great app provided in the true spirit of amateur radio. It just works! Mapping is clear and the overall presentation is clean and simple to use. The developer is quick to respond to requests for customer support. Recommended.

WSPR watch works, it's very simple to use and a great way to see how the bands are working from the warmth of the front room, before venturing to the shack. The ability to export data to a spreadsheet for analysis is going to be very useful for re-learning which band does what at different times. The first revaluation was the grey-line contact to South America on the first day of use, it was interesting to see how 40m was working all through the night with the massive spike at 06:12. I hope the developer will produce more great software, this is as good as anything I've paid for. I've not used the transmit function as my computer is doing that from the shack but if it's a good as the rest it will be just fine.

Just discovered this neat app. Allows me to keep an eye on what my home station is hearing, plus audio output would allow me to transmit WSPR tones. Fab! What I can’t discover is whether I can feed WSPR tones IN, from a receiver, to decode on the phone. I tried tapping the email button in the app but nothing happens on my iPhone SE. Just did update for transmit expecting to hear tone shifting but have been told that I shift is very small so thought there was a problem! My mistake! Dave G4BTI

Hi Peter, I use this daily so many thanks. Is there any option to change the colour of the lines connecting the Rx station to the spot, only because on 160m, the light green line colour doesn’t really stand out on my iPad viewer whereas others eg dark blue are much clearer. This is the best app I’ve found so far for tracking WSPR signals. Some really useful features added just recently allow you to filter sent/receive by callsign and unique spots. The mapping is nice and clear, but the new graphing tool is cool too. I use it daily to check my propagation and antenna performance. Gair G1VWC

The update has added a few nice features such as the ability to filter by sender and receiver. Nice to use and does the job.
