Wyoming Public Media App:
The Wyoming Public Media App allows you to listen to WPM, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the WPM streams at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to WPM with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WPM even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for all the WPM streams!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to WPM in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
On Demand
• Access WPM’s programs easily and quickly.
• DVR-like controls. Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease.
• When listening to programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one or listen to the entire program.
• Easy to access past programs.

Great app
I had been having problems with connecting to WPM on Safari. When I saw that this app is available, I gave it a try. Works every time. Easy to use.
Good App w/ caveats
This is my most used app by far and generally performs well. I have come to rely on it but it let’s me down sometimes. It’ll be playing the NPR feed just fine then just stop and I can’t get the feed back. All other links etc. seem to still work but the main function I use the app for fails. Not frequently but often enough to aggravate. The other nitpick is that I sometimes can’t listen to “All Things Considered” during the broadcast and will not be able to find the most recent addition in the “On Demand” menu. Usually I can but again aggravating from time to time. Woe is me.
Worse NPR player I have experienced
Slow, unneeded graphics making it slow to load. Lag time between ‘play’ and sound is several seconds. Worse NPR player I have experienced
Getting my WY Fix
I am a WPM sustaining member but moved to the east coast last year. I get my WY fix thru this app, and find it offers more than the local stations’ apps. I also enjoy the time shift that allows flexibility in my listening. Great station and great app!
Freezes up
When it works it’s fine. But about once a week it freezes up and I have to delete it and download it again. I’m on an iPhone 11.
