Thank you for bringing such an amazing free software project to the AppStore! Like with most libre software one has to read the manual first to use it properly, and be ready to adjust a few settings periodically, such as server location for example. However, when you configure it to your likings and feel at home, the app becomes really pleasant to use. I’ve been using it for about a week already and still find new features I didn’t know of. It’s a great alternative to the original app!

I was misled (by some articles and YouTube videos) that this app works with YouTube, allows to watch videos in the background and with the screen off. But in fact, it turned out that there's not even a hint of working with YouTube. Even the links copied from YouTube give an error. Deleting the app.

Mit einem Account auf einer der Alternativseiten (eine davon ähnelt dem Namen eines Grafikkartenherstellers) wird Yattee schnell zu einer kompletten Alternative. Abos, Wiedergabelisten und Fortschritt werden synchronisiert, statt einer Liste mit Abonnements bekommt man einen kompletten Feed und das beste ist, man kann sich dort ohne Emailadresse registrieren.
