The Blinder Connect App is developed for easy pairing and Bluetooth connectivity between your smartphone / iPad / tablet and the BLINDER HP-905 ULTRA laser defense system, via a high-powered Blinder Bluetooth 4.0 module.
Main features in the system include:
Connectivity between the Blinder App and high-powered Bluetooth module.
Configuration of the location of installed laser sensors (front or rear, or both)
Start up connectivity control, and laser sensor self-test.
Configuration of your specific country, region of driving.
Configuration of modes for speed trap protection, or alert only.
Uploading of new FW versions to your Blinder HP-905 Ultra system.
With the Blinder App application, there are no needs for drawing any wires through the firewall, everything is easily connected in the engine compartment, or in the trunk of your vehicle (Depending on front and rear installation)
Your smartphone becomes your control unit of the Blinder HP-905 Ultra system. Your personal settings can easily be made in the Blinder App and uploaded to the Blinder control module via the Blinder Bluetooth 4.0 module, and will be saved as new personal settings in the App, and the Blinder HP-905 Untra control module.
The Blinder App is free to download, as well as laser defense FW versions, when such updates are available.
If automatically firmware update function is activated in the Blinder App and the Blinder app is connected to the Blinder HP-905 Ultra system, via the included Blinder Bluetooth 4.0 module, new firmware updates will automatically be uploaded to the Blinder HP-905 Ultra control module, and the new firmware version will be shown in the Blinder App under Firmware Version:

When starting up the Blinder App and the Blinder HP-905 Ultra system for the first time, and after any new firmware update, the below procedures must be followed in the below order to secure correct functionality.
To activate all personal setting functions in the App, the App must be paired and connected to the Blinder Bluetooth module, as well as the Blinder control module.

Step 1.
Download and open the Blinder4Y app on your device.
Step 2.
Power up the Blinder HP-905 Ultra system with min. 12.60 Volt
Step 3.
Push the scanning button to start the Bluetooth pairing between the Blinder App and the Blinder Bluetooth module.
Step 4.
Push the connect button to activate connection between the Blinder App and the Blinder Bluetooth module.
