I’m really glad I found this, it is really helpful. I’m using it every day at the moment to test myself before my yoga exam.
Improvements could be: 1)tracking progress on all sections, eg so you know if you have been through a set of flash cards already or not. 2) a dictionary or ability to pull up word meanings in the tests and practices or for the answers to give you the break down of the word meaning - for instance if I have memorised that a certain pose has ‘jathara’ in the name but I don’t remember what jathara means, It would be handy if when you tell me I have it right, that as well as giving the standard pose name, you break down the component parts again. It helps with learning and apply the component part to other phrases. 3) it would be good to have some English to Sanskrit tests without the pictures.
What about adding chakras and other bits too?
Great for learning
I’ve learnt so much using this. It’s a great way to get started and would recommend to anyone wanting to teach. A couple of the word arrangements are not right. Bhujapidasa is stuck and now I can’t practice this category. Think you need to check this part of the app!

I’ve been trying to learn the Sanskrit names of the yoga poses and this has helped so much! I love the flash cards and tests :)
Rubbish!
I have tried, several times and always unsuccessfully, to get this app to work. I have registered as they requested but never ever received the e-mail which they say you need to respond to, to activate your account. I have also tried to contact them via the Apple app but they have never responded. Could I suggest that anyone who thinks this will be good for them, look elsewhere as this app is useless (well, it might be ok but never been able to use it!)
