Yoto: Music, Stories, Sleep

My (Spanish-speaking) kids are learning English thanks to Yoto. ❤️ I love everything about the Yoto player: the design, the usability, the fact that it reduces screen time, the variety of cards + radio, podcasts... the whole idea. Whoever came up with this is a genius and deserves the money ;) My main problem is that there is a huge variety but not enough cards for the popular series my kids like: more Peppa pig, Rainbow Fairies... it would be great to have Paw Patrol, Gabby Cat...

Nos encanta el Yoto Player, mi hija lo usa todos los días. La app la actualizan mucho con grandes mejoras. Lo malo que dicen que hay contenido en español y apenas hay cosas.

Está muy bien, me parece una idea genial, pero dado que no hay contenido en español cogimos las tarjetas para hacer en casa. Esas tarjetas solo se pueden escuchar con el Yoto online. No lo leímos en ningún sitio y para el avión que era la idea principal, no nos vale. Más adelante le gustará en otros idiomas, pero ahora los canticuenticos son lo que manda.

Desde que tenemos Yoto el inglés de nuestras hijas bilingües ha mejorado muchísimo. Se duermen escuchando las historias o música. Gracias Yoto

EDIT: We ended up having to use a different platform (android) to find the yoto daily podcast, then add it to the library. Only then was it accessible on the iPad app. As to adding new Wi-Fi networks, support was not helpful. They had no suggestions that we hadn’t already tried. I suspect the underlying issue is the internal component that emits the temporary WAP is very cheap, and so becomes unstable very easily. ORIGINAL: Only archived episodes are available. Since it is now impossible to add new Wi-Fi networks, we have to use the app to play Yoto daily, but that no longer works on the iPad app. It’s not under podcasts, featured or browse, and doesn’t show up in search

Forcing a selection here to phone seems unecessary.

This is a super cool idea, but every time I travel (which is the main time we would want it) nothing seems to load and it’s not really usable
