Terrible app. I love using youbikes and have so for more than 10 years. This app won’t allow me to insure my easy card and therefor cannot rent bikes any longer. Love you bikes but this terrible App will discourage usage.

Foreigners need to click the Single Rental option and verify their email address and add a credit card. After you get by set up, works great!

YouBike is great! Its nationwide, the bikes work well and it’s reasonably priced. You need to click on “Single Rental” to get started.

Firstly, when I opened the app, I was logged out automatically with a pop up saying “session time out”. Then I tried to log in, but it kept showing “Please enter 8-12 letters/numbers” error msg in the password field even though I did input 9 letters and numbers combined. Please fix this bug of data validation rule asap otherwise I can’t login and use the app at all……

It’s broken. Doesn’t send confirmation texts doesn’t work can’t sign up

The YouBike system is awesome but this app needs some serious improvement. Better to just use google maps for bike finding / navigation and the YouBike website for all other functions, unless you opt for single use. With that said, the reviewer that said a phone number is required obviously can’t read or did not take the time to go through the in app registration process.

It is required Taiwan phone number. It is really unfriendly for travelers.

Their interface is working against users - you cannot check if the rental station is for 2.0 or 1.0, i rented a 1.0 bike once and my destination had 2.0 station only, I cycled farther to 1.0 and walked back same amount of time! Why they made is more difficult for users to rent bikes? This is just ridiculous

Won’t work with a easy card, spent a half hour messing with it when I could have just walked.
