This is currently my last semester at Yuba! Ive had a tough ride in my life, my upbringing wasn’t the best, I didn’t succeed in school, I became addicted to drugs at a young age, been down so many bad roads in just a short amount of time to end up pregnant at 19, homeless and with nothing. My daughter saved mine and my husbands life at age 20. We have strived to do better ever since. I decided I wanted to get a degree in Social Work and started my career at Yuba College. I started out and was so nervous! I didn’t think that it’d be possible to accomplish so much! I thought I was going to fail just like I did all of those previous years. I was so wrong! Every time I failed, my teachers reached out because they saw how hard I tried in class and wanted me to be able to show it in my work! They pushed me farther and farther to help me achieve my dreams! I have had a blast at Yuba College and I’m glad I started my journey here!

Any time i’m wondering anything about school I can just ask the question on the app and other students and/or staff will respond the best way they can. Staff and leadership also post announcements about important things which is nice as well. Really amazing app.

I absolutely love Yuba college.

It has been really helpful. Whenever I need help, the students reply pretty fast on the student feed. This app is really useful.

I have liked the counselor student relationship and my first experience in 2004 was that I did not need a counselor.

Having the ability to ask questions or view questions and answers of fellow students is very helpful. I also appreciate the information provided regarding upcoming workshops and events.
