GET STARTED:
1. Download the Zelle app.
2. Enroll using a Visa® or Mastercard® debit card linked to a U.S. checking account; or
3. Enroll your U.S. checking account by using your online banking username and password, if your bank supports this feature*.
4. Choose a person to pay, or request money from, by entering their U.S. mobile number or email address.
5. Confirm the amount and hit send. If they’re already enrolled with Zelle, they’ll typically get the money in minutes. If they aren’t, they will be notified and can follow a few simple steps to complete the payment.
*Some banks allow customers to enroll in the Zelle app using their online or mobile banking username and password.

My ENTIRE bank account of $29,000 was stolen from me while I was hospitalized for 2 months in the Psych ward. I contacted Zelle immediately when I got the chance and they offered absolutely no help what so ever. Said it wasn’t their issue or something that they could solve. Even though they are the literal displayed wiring service for every single fraudulent transaction that occurred in my bank account. 2 months worth of multiple transactions consisting of $2,000-$10. By using this service I exposed myself to losing ever last dollar to my name and have not had any explanation or proper professionalism in returning my funds back. I am appalled and disappointed in what seemed like a decent service, turned to absolute disregard for their customer care.

Garbage app that doesn’t work with wifi
Won’t let me fix my account, says to connect to wifi when I’m already connected.

Either when I send or receive money. It takes forever to hit the bank.

No Internet Connection
Every time I try to log in or create an account it keeps telling me I have no internet connection and to turn on mobile data or WiFi and try again. I’ve restarted my router multiple times and restarted my phone as well and still the same issue. Both cellular and WiFi are working more than perfect.
Faulty
My bank does not link with Zelle so I’m limited to sending the minimal amount per week and the very first time I use it for a new receiver I can only send $250 in 24 hours. I understand all these rules. Many times when I try to use Zelle I must input my password several times which keeps looping back to the password if I can get beyond this step it asked me for the last three numbers of my debit card if I get beyond that step it tells me there’s an error if I get beyond that step and I go to send money it tells me that I can’t complete my payment and I should try again.
Today after ensuring that there was no problem on my bank’s end by speaking with them and clearing everything up, I tried to go back to use the Zelle app again and had the same issues. I called customer service and they said a tech error was to blame and to call the tech department. I called the tech department and the man on the phone kept interrupting me to explain to me the basic rules and tell me that I wasn’t understanding him. He said I hadn’t cleared everything with my bank and that the app blocked me for that.
I explained that wasn’t the case he kept interrupting me and saying I didn’t understand after I would listen to his repetitive info that didn’t apply to my situation because he was not listening to me. I gave up I probably won’t use the app again.
