Zelle®

I have never had a harder time sending money to myself, let alone someone else. Took me all day to send half my paycheck to a different bank account because they kept blocking my transactions, not allowing more than $100 per transfer, and saying I have reached the maximum number of attempts to add a new phone, even though I used the same phone number every time. When I contacted the number that popped up for assistance it sent me to my bank, which of course they couldn’t help with anything zelle related, and Finally after 15.5 hours and verifying my government ID for 10 minutes I finally finished transferring what I needed to transfer.

It’s difficult to see how much $ is in your account. When you want to switch account, it says you’ll lose history with the existing account. When turning on email to receive payment, it’s saying “Unable to Register”. I thought I was already registered. I’m logged in. There’s no explanations for any of these problems, so I’m left in the dark. They seem to have no shame in saying all the ways they’ll share your info with other vendors before you agree to contract. Many people are using the app for some reason and insist on using Zelle. PayPal is much better from my experience. Update: No way to receive funds, so they were returned. Was getting error message when trying to add a different email address, as suggested by Zelle, since first was linked to another account. Called Zelle, was told the transfer should work now. Notified sender to send again and same thing happened again. Called Zelle. They said have sender check with bank... Update: Here I am a couple years later, wasting time again with Zelle because someone has that as their only payment method. Multiple calls to my local bank and their 800 # but seven failed attempts, even on the small $ amounts. Long hold times for bank too. Joy!

My credit union doesn’t have Zelle so after March I won’t. R able to use it. So unfair😠

I am extremely disappointed Zelle is taking the app away. Some of us have banks/credit unions who don’t offer Zelle and to force us to get another financial institution that does is very unfair.

Why are you making things difficult

Takes me to my bank app where I can send but not receive money. My friend sent me money through Zelle but I have no idea how to access it. Another app that is a waste of time. PayPal and Venmo are much easier

Clueless how people use the app still but I’m forced to go through the bank app and can’t use the money soon as it’s sent to me smh pure trash
