Zing

I now have six zing nightlight, and I love them! They are the best, there is nothing that even comes close to being as great a nightlight as these are. I love all the features, different lighting effects & connectivity. Truly a great device!

This is the best smart night light! I wish you would make more. I only bought 2 :( hopefully you’ll come back again.

Cannot login/register/reset password to an account within the app. Cannot connect the lights to Wi-Fi or “Zing Cloud”. I have had these lights since crowdfunding and they STILL don’t live up to the promises made then. Idk if it’s because of the app or the actual zing software. The website is barebones and the support pages have about 6 total help articles.

App locked in on an email I removed and now will not let me add a new email address

Buggy app and not terribly intuitive. Light has a lot of functionality, but app doesn’t tap it. One huge bug in the app is that if you set up scheduling to have the light turn on and off at predefined times, one cannot set a custom color. One must use a preset and they are awe full if all you want is a nightlight. Another big problem is the motion sensor of the light. It only works when you’re right in front of it. We are trying to use the light in a stairway where you approach the light from the side. The light doesn’t light up, however, making it useless as a night motion light as it doesn’t activate until you’re already down the stairs and in front of the light. Lots of promise but doesn’t deliver.

Very cool nightlight and features. Even has a sleep feature. Endless colors to choose from and great for power outages. App is a little buggy but the firmware is kept updated with improvements.

I’m not sure the blue light reduction reduces the color temperature; it just removes the blues. Could you please update to have f.lux-like color temperature reduction? Preferably all the way down to <2000K.

Always lose connection to the light and constantly fail on firmware update which bricks the device.

Cool technology and functional too! Occasionally things are better than promised and this is one of those things! I wish I had thought of this!

Easy to use. It works. I like using the motion sensor. The schedule works very well. I wish it worked with Alexa. Love all the color choices.
