Zoho Assist - Remote Desktop

Brilliant and easy to use. I find it clear and simple . Great app.

I’ve come from using Team Viewer but as a casual user the cost has become prohibitive. I searched through various so,unions and ended up with Zoho. I’ve been using the trial version for a week or so now to support 3 remote computers. The web portal is easy to navigate and the integration for remote windows computers is brilliant. I can also support from my iPad which is a bonus. I haven’t tried it with any other operating systems but I’m really pleased with what I’ve seen so far. Full marks!

I use both the iOS app and in the Safari browser. Zoho Remote Access means I can keep an eye on my own set up when away on the road. Means I am not tied to my desk and cam travel more with the family during school holidays.

I’ve been using Zoho Assist for about three years now after having a renewal quote from LogMeIn which was astronomical to say the least. Pleased I made the change as it serves all my needs. Reporting feature is very useful on unattended access login and gives insight into time spent while on a remote computer. There have been a couple of issues with remote printing and remote screen resolution but these do not affect me. One feature that would be nice to have is an auto logout from a remote session set in the settings to say 30 minutes, because if you forget to log out your remote session could be in the order of days and so the reporting feature then becomes meaningless. Overall a great product from a great company.

From using team viewer and found this software to be easier to use and a lot more client friendly

This app saved me the headache of having to go through setting up an open portal and have my computer open to hackers. Does the job very well.

Decent software for a decent price

Remote access from mobile devices is always a good step and the mobile app looks a lot neater than the desktop counterpart however the keyboard doesn't seem to support special keys such as \ £ & @ which leaves trying to login quite difficult on a domain (but strangely enough they're available of the feedback window inside the very same app!)

Gives you all that you want to access your own computer at home and allows you to connect remotely and take control of other computers. Just like TeamViewer or Logmein only a much much better price. WARNING. Do not ever subscribe to teamviwer. They will charge you £400 or $600 and not allow you to pull out unless you comply to their hidden rules. They threaten you with legal action, cancel what you have already paid for. TeamViewer are a serious rip off. Zoho works great, monthly subscription for the pro version that lets you transfer files. Highly recommended. Steve
