I book a taxi to Heathrow from Oxford thru the app and it said the ride was confirmed, but when I checked near to the due time the booking had disappeared. This had happened before on a local trip too, so there is definitely a bug. Better to phone them or use another taxi service.
Terrible app and service
App does not work and I cannot a payment card. Got charged but nothing happens and the card does not get saved…
Worst taxi app ever used
This is by far the worst taxi app I have ever used. I never leave reviews and decided to take the time to write on just because of how bad it is. It took me over 15 minutes to finally schedule a booking, having to go through multiple hoops and views within the app that I couldn’t properly see. Please, developers, you try using it for one day, while you are traveling, at work, or out of important necessity and then you tell me!
Waste of time
App no longer works with Apple Pay. Always an error message when booking. What’s the point of having the option if it doesn’t even work….
Unreliable service
Booked a business journey to the station to catch a flight 24hrs in advance. Booking confirmed in app and email, called the company 5mins before taxi due as normally I’ve had some confirmation that the cab is on its way… operator was totally casual, “yeah sorry, lots of school runs today” “gonna be at least 15mins late”. They’re clearly either happy to lose customers or clueless as I’ll be telling Oxford contacts not to use them.
CVV validation screen
OK button hidden by keypad - and no means to minimise this on IoS. So can’t book cabs. Have to use Uber which the. Gives the booking to…001.
Shame they are missing revenue.
Never Works.
I don't always carry around money. Usually tend to use Apple Pay, which never ever seem to work on the app. Even when trying to book one using 'Pay by cash' option, it just wouldn't work. Waste of time. Extremely poor. Constant error messages.
Card payments fail all the time
This app is a disgrace compared to the previous version. Card payments keep failing constantly. Please get it fixed.
Warning: Hidden charges penalise Brompton owners
My partner and I booked a 7 seater even though there were only two of us. We were moving to Oxford with two suitcases each and our Brompton bikes, so we thought we’d book a bit more space.
However, even though all of our luggage fit in the boot, and the company policy says that if this is the case then there’s no extra charge… it’s ALSO the case that if you have a bike, in any form, then you’re charged an extra £10 per bike, always.
We appealed to management and they gave us the classic “computer says no” argument.
I asked if they expected us to ever book with them again, and they said “I don’t know”. I assured them that we never would.
Ran a mile!
So I downloaded and installed the app but before even opening it I read the reviews and promptly deleted the app without even opening it. I just don’t get why there isn’t a decent taxi service in Oxford, every other town or city I’ve used taxis in come with local recommendations and have been brilliant.
