I’ve been a 12c user for a long time. It’s the best financial calculator there is and this is the absolute best one, just updated too. The functionality is perfect, it has the option of having a visual stack on the screen, and the record tape feature lets you check your work not having to redo the calculations. You can customize the color scheme too. Just the greatest version of 12c ever created, thanks! Update 01/2025 Still the best! Thank you!

The previous version I had used calculated everything about a mortgage payment. If I left something blank and hit that button, then it would calculate whatever the information I requested. I.e. interest rate, Payment, years, etc. Now it does not calculate that for me anymore. The previous version worked exactly like my 12 C calculator. Can this be fixed or is there a new way of doing these types of calculations?

I have really gotten good use out of this app for real estate and general use. It has been very reliable.

I’ve had an HP 12C since they first came out. When I bought an iPhone and an iPad, I wanted an emulator that worked at least as well as the physical calculator. My former employer also had a 12C emulator on the App Store, but it was out classed by 12Calc. First off, it looks great, unlike some other emulators. You can even choose different templates. However, what matters to me is how it works. All the 12C functions are there, but there are a bunch of great additions. There are various worksheets for more complicated efforts if you want to track them on the screen. Included are useful conversion tools, so you won’t need a separate conversion app. You can review the memory and even print it out or export to a file. Copy and paste is supported. There are just too many features to write about here, but they are all covered by the terrific context-sensitive help. You press the help button, including the “F” and “G” shift functions, and you get an explanation of how the function works and some examples. The developer also has some terrific TI based emulators, especially the TI83/84 and TI-BA emulators. However, if you need the best 12C emulator out there, get 12Calc. There’s even a bundle offered where you can get 12C and TI-BA emulators for one price. The best of both worlds!

Now my favorite calculator is as close as my phone, it’s always with you. This app has additional features not found on the original HP. The currency converter is very accurate and uses current exchange rates. Best of all, the app cost less than a set of replacement batteries for your legacy HP 12C.
