By far the best and most useful app I tested. Even as a beginner, not playing on the big courses yet. Very comprehensive and helpful training drills, great UI design and usability. When I contacted support about adding my local club‘s short course, it was added within 24 hours!!! Exceptionally good support if I ever experienced one. Contrary to some reviews, it is totally possible to switch from imperial to metric in the user profile preferences. 11/10 would birdie again!
Easy on course handling. Using it with the apple watch app. Top! You can notice all important facts on your round, just with a few clicks on the watch. Recommendation!
This is by far the best Golf app. A lot cleaner than Golfshot and far better than Hole19. The app is a lot more informative than the Tag Heuer app which I like. The inclusion of a Golf school and AI tools makes this app feel very polished. I hope the developers will keep updating this app. :)
Nice App and easy to use but I can‘t find a setting where I can switch Yards to meters. So in Germany the App is useless :(
I used the free version of the app, so my rating is based on that. I found the app layout and pop up windows and suggestions quite chaotic, and too much. The user experience design is just not up to modern standards, at least seen from my background and perception (38 years old, living in Germany). Compared to other apps in golf I had the strong desire to clean up the app, throw out functions etc.
Die App wirkt aufgeräumt und übersichtlich. Es macht Spaß, in dem schicken Design die eigenen Scores festzuhalten und Ziele zu definieren. Einziges Manko: Die Gewinnspiele gelten nur für die USA.
Haven’t used many others since I’ve been using for many years. Big fan and have only upgraded since the start. Will actually look at issues you send in and fix them! Keep it up 18Birdies!
This is a fantastic app and has gotten much better with the new autostat feature. One problem I have with it that most players probably don’t realize. TLDR; Make it possible to get back into a round and use the GPS if you accidentally finish the round. Make it easier to change round settings. My local course doesn’t have tee times. As a member, I don’t even have to tell them I’m playing a round, I just hit the range and then go to the tee box. I can also just start on the 10th. So I often don’t even know if I plan on playing 9 or 18. Here’s the problem: If I choose 18 and then later decide I only want to play 9, the app is finicky about changing that. Especially if I started on the 10th hole. So, I started choosing 9 holes at the beginning of every round, since it’s easier to change from 9 to 18, rather than 18 to 9. But now when I finish the 9th, I accidentally click “finish round” and then there is no way to get back into the round. Even if I don’t fully submit the round, I can’t get back and use the gps. I can change it to 18 and then manually type in my scores, but still can’t use the gps. This is my biggest problem.
It’s a great app so far
