Didn’t work for me
Downloaded to compare, tried on and off for both. I couldn’t discern any ads being blocked. Older app seemed to work much better. Sorry!

1Blocker is very easy to use — just flip a couple of switches to start blocking ads and trackers. The app will automatically receive cloud updates to the built-in filters silently, so you don’t need to do anything. It’s as simple as setting and forgetting.
1Blocker is a fully native app designed to extend Safari naturally. It’s lightweight and doesn’t drain your battery by taking up your device’s resources.
The blocking itself is super fast because Safari does it itself. We only provide filters to Safari and don’t modify webpages in any way. This vastly improves efficiency because Safari knows in advance what should be blocked. So, with 1Blocker, sites load on average 2-5x faster.
It’s important to note that not all ads can be blocked though. Some sites use techniques that make it impossible for us to block their ads using currently available features for Safari content blockers.

1Blocker is secure and private. It doesn’t have access to webpages and doesn’t track you in any way.
We believe that privacy is not for sale. That's why we don't have an "Acceptable Ads" program. We stay independent, and the only way we make money is through direct sales of 1Blocker in the App Store to you.

Wow, I’ve got my accelerator back again!
I have been driven nuts by my iPad taking forever to load Safari windows and YouTube videos. I noticed my desktop computers had a setting for “Firewall” which when turned on made them rip along. No such setting existed on my iPad and so I searched for and found iBlocker. At first blush, having turned on my free full trial the iPad leapt into life and Safari downloads appeared so much faster than I had seen for the last few years. I was seriously thinking of replacing hardware but with this APP, that is completely unnecessary. I’ve got a month to give it a real try and hopefully will continue to find a great response. Cheers and well done to the team that put this APP together and maintain it. Thanks. I’m only rating it. 4/5 because with half an hour’s use, that doesn’t tell me anything about its longevity.
Essential piece of software in 2024
It's not just faster browsing without ads it's a basic security measure! I don't know how anyone can raw dog the web in 2024
Soooo many ads
I’ve paid for this app 3 years now, but damn every game has so many ads. I don’t think it’s worth it and will get a new blocker when subscription ends.
Consistently fails to block YouTube ads
If anything, YouTube ads seem worse than before I bought this app.
If you hate Ads then this apps for you.
Have just subscribed for 1 year. Absolute amazing blocker in what it does. Thankyou.
