This app is so badly designed you have to laugh at the devs. Doesn’t work in landscape mode, so much wasted white space and doesn’t support dark mode.

The new version of the app was pathetic when released. Just when you think it could not getting any worse the latest update relegates it to portrait only mode on an iPad, so an iPhone App now on the iPad. This is a terrible user experience. Be brave and bring back the previous look and feel.

The “new version” of the app is absolutely appalling. Just where has the weather gone? So much white and wasted space, no weather in the corner of the screen, tiny compacted pictures on the right hand side. It’s like they’ve gone back in time 10 years. Bring back the old app!!! Why break something that was perfectly fine??

Don’t like the update. How do I watch news live now. Doesn’t seem to be any video clips on any off the reports. Sometimes you boffins just need to leave things alone. Update to stop hacking but the rest of it hands off.

Does anyone else have a problem with that purple link colour (that turns red after tapping?) It’s probably the main colour that I can’t see with my Tritanopia. I can’t see it very well against the black background unless I zoom in. Be great if you softened it a little (make it a more light blue).

Can’t view videos - even with NZ VPN

App need more updates fast to stop it from crashing with my I-devices. As an ex-pat, it’s annoying enough I can’t see videos within articles due to copyright rubbish, now I can’t even see articles!! Sort it fast TVNZ, this is very amateurish.

App crashes every time I read a news item that does not end with the One News logo in the footer (at the end of the article). As soon as I scroll up to reach the end - crash - and app restart is required. Simple solution would be to end all News articles with the logo rather than empty space. Past review: App crashes and closes every time I try to read a Commonwealth Games post. A few days ago I could read the item but not watch the video. Now I can't even read the item as it crashes immediately every time. Have updated the app.

No longer viewable as it now crashes every time I try to open it. Also, when it was previously viewable videos were very hit and miss in that some opened and others didn't. With reference to Star rating above I regret 'no view no stars' Please note this review will not be transmitted by the App unless a star is awarded. I, therefore, award 1 star under duress!
