22seven FAQ
Is 22seven free?
Yes, 22seven is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is 22seven legit?
🤔 The 22seven app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I love the app, it’s come a long way and it’s got even more potential.
Their Nudge feature needs to be more prominent and if it could render charts based off your habits it would give some nice insights into your lifestyle.
Another nice feature would be to give you “nudges” when you’re about to buy a coffee or fast food and instead prompts you to put that spend away into the savings instead. If you make it easy to do those things it would be a game changer.
Brilliant app
Completely amazed by how user friendly and brilliant this is
Brilliant
Brilliant app. Really well done. Provides a better use interface to an already great product! Nice looking app too!
Was great, but now useless and insecure
22Seven was an amazing app. But it seems like all development, maintenance and support has stopped.
Nedbank accounts just don’t update anymore, with no reason. I can confirm this is a wide spread issue.
The app lacks critical security features, that should be standard on all platforms at this point such as 2FA. (2FA was requested many years ago, the teams said they were working on it, but still nothing).
Their support team doesn’t exist anymore, I’ve attempted multiple times to contact 22Seven support but every single time, no one is available.
Overall with the lack of development, security and maintenance, I don’t think anyone should trust 22Seven with their banking details.
Update issues with Absa-linked accounts
22seven has the potential to be a great app, but I am having issues with updating my accounts (mainly Absa accounts). Upon registering my Absa accounts the information was updated on 22seven, but after the initial registration no updates occur, despite the fact that I chose the daily update setting (per 22seven’s recommendation) and the notification I get daily from my Absa app that a log on has occured. This has been going on for mor than a month now.
Too Buggy
It used to be good, but now nothing updates and Capitec is completely removed. I tried automatic and manual updates and it hasn’t updated at all. Unusable.
Downward spiral
I understand the nature of the development process, but I am trulyshocked at how bad this update is. This once great and indispensable app is unfortunately getting worse and worse with each update, I think this latest “revamp” is the breaking point for me.
Now, the app takes forever to log in.
My bank accounts are really struggling to update, and some are more than 10days behind, rendering the app useless for me.
No, I do not want to contact support blah blah blah - I want to put my username and password and have the app work! The issues are too many to name, especially so since they are such trivial and core things.
Unfortunately going to have to switch to FNB smart budget as my daily driver, they have been catching up rather quickly.
Hire some professionals
Disappointing
The app is constantly glitching
Capitec bank
Hi I was excited to download the as I’ve read great reviews but only disappointed as I’m trying to link my bank but can’t seem to find Capitec in the long list of service providers
