I agree with previous writer. I would happily sacrifice some reaction speed for smoother operation. Great idea though.
3D Compass
Ok, but a bit erratic. Needs to be made smoother in it's operation as it's tends to jump a bit. Not overly convinced of the accuracy of the iPhone compass function on which this is based.
