VOICE TRAINER
During the runs, listen to your music and the voice trainier will tell you when it's time for you to run or walk.
Set your goal and work to get there in a healthy way.
HEALTHKIT INTEGRATION
Run 5K integrates nicely with HealthKit, meaning that all your workout data will be available for you inside Run 5K and the Apple Health App. On top of that, all the races you save using Run 5K will contribute to filling the Activity rings on your Apple Watch. Isn't that cool?

Bug prevented me from continuing
Firstly, after day 6 I was forced to pay in order to continue. Pre-warning of this would have been nice, but as I was using it I thought ‘at least I’m getting something out of this’.
Mistake.
Run 7 ended weirdly - the last ‘walk’ section ended before the mileage was up, but gave me no instructions on what to do. I ran because it seemed logical, and after a few minutes the session ended successfully (it seemed).
2 days later and I’m ready to run again. But now, even though I have completed run 7 - and 7 runs are marked as green - I cannot start run 8 and the app is insisting I go back to day 2 for no apparent reason!
Now as a new runner, you can imagine how hugely demotivating and upsetting this was.
