Great app and program

LesMab on

South Africa

The N2R app is amazing. The functionality is really great, and it works seamlessly every time. Multiple programs available (beginner, 5k, 10k etc), voice cues which you can customise, can play music from another app simultaneously, tracks your sessions and shows good array of stats, ability to do open runs or customised intervals outside of the program which are all tracked. There are also warm up, cool down and other strength and mobility workouts available in the app, which is great. There is a lovely and supportive N2R community, you get loads of motivation and helpful/informative articles. The support team is responsive and helpful. You can also send your workouts to Strava, and share to other platforms. Some suggestions to improve the app further: Add a pace control function with audio cues when a target pace is exceeded or not met (depending on the goal) - this will be particularly helpful for people struggling to run slow/control their pace; Enable open runs to be started on the watch app. Issues/bugs: Notes disappear even after saving. Otherwise I really love this app and program. I’m on the beginner program (run/walk intervals) and this is by far the best one I’ve come across for true beginners, allowing you to progress more gently, making the process less intimidating. I would highly recommend this app and program to EVERYONE looking to get started on a running journey.

Best beginner running app

NixCan on

I’ve tried other beginner running apps and always found that the progress between weeks is too fast and I’ve either developed shin splints or lost motivation. N2R has a great pace to it, love the encouragement through the apps, the updates throughout the run help keep you motivated and love the emails full of good running advice.

Just what I wanted!

Mama VJK on

Being a 62 year-old woman and overweight, I wanted to up my cardio exercise to improve my health. I have never been a runner and wanted to start slowly. I looked into the Couch to Run program but thought it moved too quickly in only 8 weeks. I discovered the N2R app and committed to the 12 week program. I wanted to be prompted in my ear wearing earphones so I didn’t have to keep checking my phone. It was the perfect program for me! By eating more healthy and implementing this program, I lost 25 lbs in those 12 weeks and feel so much better. I would truly recommend this program.

Love this app

I’ve tried many apps but they all seem a little too advanced for me at 63 yrs old. I felt accomplished today because it was a plan I could follow as is. It felt good.

Love this app!

I am on week 6 of my journey with None to Run and I highly recommend it! I am running for the first time in my life. Not only has the plan been easy to follow I lost love the little touches like the 5 second reminders when starting and ending a run/walk interval.

Amazing App!

I hated running but always wanted to love it….. thanks to this super easy program I’ve gradually fell in love and increased my stamina tremendously and I’m only on week 8! Much better than couch to 5K and well worth the money!

Makes running achievable!

Very easy to use and really breaks down the way to properly build up endurance in a safe beginner environment. You have to put in the work but it’s attainable and achievable!

Superb

I love it. I’ve never really been a runner. Played basketball when I was younger so we’d sprint at practice but that was it. I ended up being obese after kids so after losing the weight, wanted to find something I could do that didn’t require much to begin. Long story short, love this app, the support, the plan - it’s worth every penny. Absolutely recommend. I love running now (starting week 8 of 12 for the None to Run plan). Hate my “off” days. I keep trying to get my friends involved by enticing them with a free month but think you’re only here if you have the desire to run. If that’s why you’re here, this is the app/plan.

Starting in my 60’s!

Kimg1212 on

At 62 and never before running in my life, I started the beginner plan. I repeated a few weeks but I finished today - next up 5k plan! I am so grateful! Highly recommend the app. Stick with it! It works!

Amazing

Soeskay on

This app is amazing. I just finished the Beginner challenge and am running 25 minutes straight. I hated running before this and could barely run 45 seconds at a time. I had to repeat weeks multiple times but Mark makes you feel encouraged by this instead of discouraged. I highly recommend this app for those that have never run before. It’s an attainable plan that works!
