An good app that needs a little more work
If you have Accordance on the desktop, this is a no-brainer. With the upcoming syncing between different devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) it really becomes possible to have your cake ant eat it too.
It is fast. Screaming fast. Even the most complex search on the iPhone or iPad is near-instantaneous. Once you get used to this, then other competing sofware becomes slow as molasses in comparison.
However, the verse chooser is not the best in the biz, especially on the iPad. Also, the sheer presentation misses the last bit of 'oomph'.
I've no doubt that this app will improve over time, and have no hesitation in recommending it in the current form. When it matures, then it will probably be the best bible app out there (as it is on the desktop imnsho).

Love it, hoping for an Indonesian translation
Found this while recently looking for a more privacy-respectful Bible app, and this seems to be a really good option. I love the clean, distraction free look, and the way it opens directly to the scripture, once installed.
The only thing holding me back from making the switch is current lack of support for TB (or any other) Indonesian translation, as that’s my wife’s native language, and we want to both be studying from the same app. I see there are many other international translations available in the store; I hope an Indonesian language translation becomes available for purchase there soon!
purchases don’t show
i’ve downloaded my purchases, deleted app, reinstalled, etc. multiple times already, but i can’t access them at all.
Copy&Paste
On copy, you either need to cancel or edit your copy if you overshoot where you wanted to stop, you can’t just go back, in the copy.
Sync issues
It’s been years (and a few updates) since I could edit a note on an iOS device.

Best Bible Software
Incredible for anyone growing with Christ
Accordance for iOS
Accordance for a computer (Mac or PC) is the best overall Bible software when considering complex search capabilities together with available resources. Accordance does need a web version, however. For iOS on an iPad, many of the features carry over, although accessing them can be more difficult. The iOS version on iPad also has some quirks, although over time Accordance tends to fix these.
Love accordance wish more of the desktop features could come to iPad
I love accordance and have used it virtually every day since 2008 for sermon prep. I have now switches to my iPad Pro as my main and only machine. I would love it if more of the desktop features could come to the iPad. Perhaps catalyst could make this possible? I would even be willing to pay for upgrades like with the desktop version.
Accordance is planning a cloud based version as part of Accordance 14 that should bring greater feature parity.
