Perfect tool to use with Getting Things Done approach
I've been using Moleskine's apps for years. They're beautifully designed, and not over-designed – updates are few because there is not much to improve, and its simplicity is a big part of its value.
I use the tool in conjunction with the task-management approach in Dave Allen's "Getting Things Done" book. That is, I have separate lists for different kinds of tasks. The tasks can be assigned to days, including with nice natural-language recognition – that is, if I enter a task like "submit tax return on Friday", it will create a task called "submit tax return" and set it to appear on my daily tasks on Friday.
It can do recurring tasks too, which is particularly useful for regular reminders. The recurrence can be set by date or for a time period after the last one was completed. So if I want to wash my dog once a month, and I put that off for a week, once I've completed it, the next reminder will be a month from when I washed the dog, rather than a month from when the first date was set. That's a small thing, but very useful.
Actions is also just beautiful to work with. It feels nice to use. It feels productive to use. It encourages me to be more organised. It also integrates perfectly with the Timepage calendar app.

This is app is so much fun to use. Unique design and intuitive. But, no rich text and lack of media support are big let downs for me.
Widget
Good design of the widget layout but won’t sync! Happened between the Timepage and Action too.

Put a price on your app
This app is pointless when the only thing that’s free is the download. Could at least have some of the features for free instead of only being able to use on a trial or subscription. I’d rather see a price on it then waste time downloading when the content isn’t actually free. Same for the sister apps.
Poor on syncing
Won’t sync to widget, won’t sync to desktop. Good format which makes the rest of the poor performance disappointing
Finally
Finally a calendar/task list/scheduling app that works like it should. I love that unfinished tasks are pushed to the next day so you can keep smashing them out without having to reschedule everything manually.
Remind me at a location
Hey Team,
I am a huge fan of your range of apps and use them all frequently. I would love to see a “remind me at location” option for actions. The current settings are great but sometimes the things I need to do are based on a location not a time. For example “get bread at supermarket” but I don’t know the exact day or time that I will be at the supermarket, so this update would be super useful.
(If this is already an option can I be sent a link on how to set it up).

I love the interface but it needs to sync with reminders or at least have location based notifications like reminders does ie. leaving work, arriving home etc.
Lacking a few things
I would love to love Actions.. adding the ability to use tags or project management would be a game changer. However people have been asking this for years, yet nothing. Time to move on.
