Illustrator crashes all the time…..

Hi Adobe I don‘t know if it‘s because of the apple system or because of the app, but could you please fix it… It is kind of strange paying for an app and not being able to use it because it crashes all the time…

Always crashes on iPad m2

Illustrator is a great program itself but it always crashes on my iPad wich makes it unusable. Please fix the instability Problems

peut-être bien.

Je n’apprécie pas vraiment le fait qu’il est précisé App gratuit, mais que je sois obligée de m’inscrire avec 10,90 frs CH par mois débité sur mon compte après une mois d’essai. Il serait sans doute préférable de laisser à discrétion l’essai puis si l’on veut continuer, obligation de s’abonner. Dommage.

Can't load its own .ai images on the iPad

Your task is actually only one: to provide a functioning app. But that already seems to be too much. Apart from the fact that there are always updates with bug fixes, which indicates that obviously a faulty app was delivered, it is not possible to open an .ai image with Illustrator on an iPad (pro). This is just one example.

Funktioniert nur mit Abo, kann ohne nicht mal zum betrachten einer Datei verwendet werden.

Laggy

The the canvas feels very, very laggy compared to Affinity Designer. Moving objects and drawing curves happens at 15 fps on my iPad whereas Affinity doesn‘t feel laggy at all on the same device. I think this is mainly because Illustrator‘s rendering engine does not have many performance improvements, for example rendering the objects in a lower resolution while they are moved or when zooming. I really think that a company like Adobe should easily be able to achieve this as well, especially in an app like this one that‘s relatively new to the core. I cannot recommend this to any non-CC user, because at the moment, Affinity‘s apps are simply more performant and feature-rich on iPad. P.S: I noticed that Fresco‘s engine is moch more optimized and I really hope that the Adobe devs are able to port these optimizations to Illustrator and other apps like Express and Photoshop.

If u start typing u’ll lose all day

The app uses a lot of resources from your ipad, i been using it with an ipad last generation an it was really hard to work with, i spent all my journey trying to make a CV because the program was getting slower and slower as much as i type. Plus the type tool and type editing is confusing and really hard to use and at least for me the keyboard was hidding, going small or big with no sense. Please work on it, it’s really difficult to work that way.

good but still much potential

i enjoy using illustrator on my ipad, but there are still so many features missing and i hope to see them soon
