ADT+ gives you secure mobile access to your ADT home security system, allowing you to arm and disarm your security system, monitor your home virtually anywhere, and manage access.

Manage your home virtually anywhere. Arm and disarm your security system, stream live video and view video history from your Nest cameras and receive personalized alerts and emails for events around your home like arming, disarming, and intelligent alerts from your smart home devices.  
 
Trusted Neighbor™  
Eligible customers can take advantage of ADT’s Trusted Neighbor™.  Trusted Neighbor™ is a new ADT service that lets you grant secure, temporary access to your home through the ADT+ app. Trusted Neighbor™  is designed to give you peace of mind and is the latest example of our commitment to empowering you to protect and connect what matters most. 
 
Use the ADT+ app to: 
- Arm and disarm your system from virtually anywhere 
- Stream live video and speak to visitors with two-way talk from your Nest Cams and Doorbells* 
- View event video history so you can see what your cameras captured if you’re home or away* 
- Check the status of your ADT+ security system 
- Turn lights on and off, lock/unlock smart locks, adjust the thermostat, and open/close your garage door with the app 
- Manage your settings and profile, and set up and edit custom alerts to reach you via email or push notification

All the one star reviews here are completely valid. List of issues: 1. Set away but instead it says stay 2. Sometimes it make you go through the login process all over again for no reason 3. It constantly says “system offline” if you press a button on the screen to quickly. Do better ADT

Where is the Support

I have had this app for 3 months now and it has been the most problematic app I’ve ever used. Settings change randomly and chatting or calling support is no help. For example, the device status for cellular and WiFi have been “offline” for the last week. Supports only resolve is to uninstall and reinstall the app and reset the base. This is not helpful as I am not confident that I can leave my home and have the app properly send activity alerts if there is a problem. Also, the hub shows as online but “sim pending activation” intermittently. It may be due to upgrading the phone. Please fix this so I can have confidence in using ADT services. Thanks in advance

I’ve been attempting for a day now to try to upgrade my account to the ADT plus functionality to no avail. Calls with their reps always become disconnected and each time I call back the longer the wait time becomes. on the current version of the app when you go to type in your information, you can’t even access a keyboard to sign up. It is no wonder this company already almost went bankrupt multiple times.

I regret not taking the cash, the representative lied about the products I would be receiving. I brought this up and they placed a second order on the product promised (which was a hub monitor), and the order was later canceled without notifying me. Later once I began to set my system up, I realized the app does not work and my account is glitched. I am not able to create an account nor login with the email utilized for the purchase of this equipment. It has been weeks and my security system has been down. ADT+ customer service is horrible, from dropped phone calls to low quality audio over the phone. If their representatives dont have quality connection to communicate with you a out THEIR issues - do you really think that YOUR home security is going have quality connection? (Let alone if you get it up and running at all).

Calling This System Garbage is an Insult to Garbage

Absolutely worthless. If there was a way to leave negative feedback: I would. I’m one of the suckers who got tricked into taking this as a replacement for a perfectly functional Google Secure solution that they up and decided to abandon for no good reason. I thought: how bad can it be? Well, both Google and ADT really brought their F game to prove me wrong. Rather than just repackage the excellent Nest Secure: these clowns decided to reinvent the wheel as a triangle. The amount of things wrong with this system would fill a book. Heed my warning and AVOID at all costs. How ADT is still in business truly baffles the imagination. 0/10 would not do again.

Way too many to list. But the current problem is that every time I restart the app, it forces me to go through all the same setup prompts (verbal password, emergency contact setup), except it won’t let me input the same emergency contact so I’m on family member #7 now! Worst part is that we accidentally tripped the alarm this morning but I couldn’t disarm immediately because I was stuck in the setup loop. TRASH.

My first set up was a total failure. ADT sent me a Nest Hub with sensors and cameras. They had me set up the ADT plus account first. The ADT plus app couldn't set up my Nest Hub using Google Home or my WiFi. I can't set the equiptment up on my own with the Google Hoem app either. They told me they are still going to charge me for the equiptment. I have to wait until they send me a shipping label to return the equiptment to get my money back if it still fails after my virtual set up appointment. The self set up system is a huge failure.
