The Best For Writing

Purchased in the year 2012. After so many years this is still the most useful dictionary for any writing project. Strongly recommend!

Very useful.

I open it at least once a day.

User friendly

It gives you several alternative synonyms as well and quite easy to use. One of the best references to have when looking for an appropriate word or phrase to use.

Amazing dictionary

I have been using this app for a year and this my review about it. I can say it’s mostly the best English dictionary app. I have another dictionaries apps are installed on my phone. Many times I do compare with them and always the winner is this app. It doesn’t only provide the meaning. It provide the word in its different phrases, what is related to, collocation, synonyms...etc Additional, the pronunciation. I advise you to have it. You won’t regret for it.

I actually enjoy the AED, and use it exclusively, because it does what I need it to. And more! Who knew a dictionary could be so much fun? I recommend it highly.

Totally awesome dictionary app! I love it!

Advanced English dictionary & Thesaurus app doesn’t require internet connection, and audio pronunciation works offline. This app has concise definition, and excellent thesaurus with word links. Its word search engine is excellent with very smart word suggestions when I don’t know how to spell the word. This app is an awesome dictionary. I have been using this app both online and offline. I love it! Thank you!

I like it except for two things

I like the app, but have two quibbles. 1. The x to clear the search field doesn’t contrast enough with the background. 2. I can’t find a way to copy search results. Other than those things I am pretty happy with the app.
