AdVenture Ages: Idle Clicker

As the title says. Fun game but only 1 star due to these things. I have lost countless rewards after watching your crappy ads. Right now, I am getting the crappy ad for “the Tower” and it plays repeatedly and gets hung up continually. Even after rebooting it just plays the ad again st the next opportunity. Complete garbage. The game is also bad for your health as in order to place highly in events, you need to log in every 2-4 hours. This is bad for your sleep as it preys on the competitive nature of people to the detriment of their health. Fix the garbage ads and make chests accumulate at a different rate at night so that people can get a good nights rest and still be able to compete.

I’ve been playing other games by this developer for a while and this game is no exception. It’s a fun diversion for an idle game that isn’t hard to level up on, something many other games lack. My one complaint is the ad system is broken. I reported this to support and they compensated me some gems which was a nice gesture but that doesn’t fix the underlying issue. 80-90% of watched ads don’t give rewards, they kick you to the loading screen saying you’ve been offline while watching the ads inside their game.

The fact that adds are now over a minute long makes me not want to play your game. I know that’s probably due to whomever is selling the add space you’re running, but it really sucks.

I'm at a point where I can't even progress because the cost is too high. Shame as it was a fun game. Now it's just boring.

I’ve been playing Hippo’s games for a long time and really enjoyed Capitalist, then Communist. Wanted to have a look at them again and I realize that some major flaws did not change over the years to avoid the risk of the game becoming toxic to players’ lifestyles: who thought it would be a good idea to balance events so that people have to connect to an idle game every 2-4h, even at night, to be able to beat events? And even then with this relentlessness you most probably can’t even reach the levels to unlock Epic cards this way… A game designed like this clearly does not care about its players and their mental health. I remember when I was playing years ago I could wake up in the night and think: “oh! I should open my phone just to open event capsules before they max out.” Of course that is my problem but the fact that a game does not have 12h idle max rewards show me how toxic the game is designed. And let’s not start on the amount of ads that you can watch daily just to feel some kind of progress…

Ok, I’ve played both Adventure Communist and Capitalist and those 2 are very fun games alone, their game design is so much smoother, and the animations aren’t as cartoony as this game. After a while of spamming comrades to buy certain levels like “Gladiators” or “Crusaders” etc.. It asks if you *want* to deploy your comrades to this one OR you can *go to a much better one, that’ll benefit you more*, it’s an annoying feature and neither communist or capitalist has that feature so why is it in this one? Makes the game unplayable for me tbh, bc every time I tap it’ll pop up saying that, now idk if you can turn it off or whatever, if it is I would like to know how to turn it off, if not i’ll be sadly deleting this game. Adventure Ages is a flop tbh. 👍🏻

This game is really fun. It dosent take a little bit of time to beat. But it is pretty slow. It takes me 1 or 2 days just to go through 1 rank and I’m only on rank 29. There are no forced ads. They are optional. I also like the events. But the titanium capsules cost too many gems. Could you maybe lower the price of that a bit? Other then that I like this game.

Good game but ads are too aggressive - many of them just lock you in a cycle of directing you to the App Store to install whatever game they promote. I realize that advertising is necessary and I’m not against it, but I hate when it locks you into an endless loop or other times (after watching for a minute), it will just say “whoops - something didn’t work. No reward for you,”. Fix that and I’ll fix my review.

When I open my games a couple hours later I saw I was level 115 and that my avatar was a guy when a couple hours earlier I was level 70 and my avatar was a girl

I’m a veteran. Have max trophies on all games by this dev. Huge idle game enjoyer because it helps me wind down for bed. They’re very important to help me sleep. I wasn’t a huge fan of this one. Nothing really came close to AdCap sadly, but it grows on you immensely. Now I’m almost level 50 and play it a ton. Love it. I have my own issues with it that take away from it being a 5 star game. But it’s not disappointing by any means. I would totally recommend this game. It starts off maybe a bit too slow, but overall it’s excellent. A couple issues I have. The purchasing prompt covers the amount of that specific thing you have, ex: if you press buy 70,000 Artists, it will cover how many artists you have so you don’t know when you’re trying to reach a specific amount of them unless you wait for the prompt to go away each time. It’s a bit annoying. XP is super greedy in this game. It’s a lot more idle than their previous games and you have to wait a LONG LONG time before playing again. It loses playability a lot faster unless you watch a ton of ads or buy things. I get it. They need to make money somehow. It is a free game. It’s not a HUGE deal. Third thing that is me just nitpicking. There’s almost 0 incentive to restart your game. The game essentially forces you to when you run out of objectives and level up. There’s no boost, angel system, etc. Population growth. Nothing like that. You keep nothing. It’s kind of annoying. Those things aside it’s a 5/5 game, honestly.
