Aesthetic Record EMR Reviews
Kicks me out every 10 minutes
I understand that the company does not want you to share your account because the customer pays per user. However, it is extremely difficult to use if the app kicks you out every 5-10 minutes, even though I am the only user of my phone. The app should come with Face ID if they want to have the user log in every single time. Until that is in place, please trust your customer and allow us to use it every time we open it without having to type the password. Thank you.
Excessive Middle of the day updates hurts my business
There is not one company in there right minds who would schedule an update in the middle of the work day, except for Aesthetic RECORDS! This is a true account: I start charting on a client putting in information all to get ready to save/move on and it updates at that point causing a loss in charted information. Not only does it up dates you must click the update button on the actual app as if you are downloading the app for the first time. Updates should be done in the background/at night/never in the middle of a day.
Too Many Updates / Glitches
I love this platform when it works, however, the constant updates and glitches that kick me out of the app every time i open it. Please fix this!! It is severely disrupting efficiency. It was good for a while, however, the new update is horrendous
New Update is Terrible
The new login process for the most recent update has been a nightmare. Every time we receive inbox notifications from our patients, we have to re-enter our email and password, which is incredibly frustrating and time-consuming! Occasionally, there’s an option to use a four-digit code, but it doesn’t appear consistently, which makes the experience even more inconsistent.
This change has made the app less user-friendly, especially when we need to respond to patients quickly while on the go. I hope the developers consider reverting to the previous login method or find a more efficient solution, as the current setup is making it difficult to manage communications effectively.
Disappointed, wish I would have spent more on a more reliable system
Constant glitches and hard to reach customer service. Updates in the software every few days which often disrupt my clinic in the middle of the day. Most of the updates seem to cause more problems with more updates to try to fix. System freezes and kicks me out frequently. There's no phone number they require you chat for every problem, go through multiple articles, which gets very time consuming and difficult to actually get anything fixed or get ahold of anyone. I signed up because it seemed more affordable that the others but there are a handful of add on fees so I’m not sure that’s the case anymore between paying for other users and reminder texts, etc. I think they have a lot of potential but I’ve been waiting for over 2 years and still waiting. Also very expensive to get your info off this software to switch to another so I feel trapped.
User friendly app
I love it.
AR
There’s so many updates and it only seems to slow the practice down. The new consents are redundant and makes no sense. We need to be able to put credit card fees to clients and we’ve ask multiple times for this feature. There needs to be more options for before and after pictures. After the latest update the ability to pull up pictures while in the visit note isn’t an option. This is not well thought out or user friendly.
Tech Issues
They are constantly updating in the middle of the work day. The app is always glitching and erasing notes you saved. The app will also randomly go down and it’s so frustrating being in the middle of seeing patients and not having access to charts or appointments.
NEEDS WORK
I’ve been using this for 7 months now, and it need so much work. Every day it asks me to update the app before I log in, on my tablet and iPhone. the last update ERASED ALL SIGNED PATIENT CONSENTS, I’ve reached out to support and did NOT get a reply. I also use a brand new Apple tablet including a new iPhone, just because this company is not available for android.
Horrible app
I’ve been using Aesthetic Record for a while, but lately, the experience has been extremely frustrating. The constant updates seem to be doing more harm than good. Every time there’s an update, more bugs seem to appear instead of improvements. Now, all of my consents have completely disappeared, and I’m unable to document anything! These glitches are making it almost impossible to run a smooth operation, and it’s impacting my practice’s workflow and patient experience. It’s disappointing to see that each update only worsens the app’s stability rather than fixing issues. Aesthetic Record really needs to step up their quality control and make this app reliable again.
