I’ve used the app for several years and even the previous version. In the last several months, the app just crashes when I try to open. At first thought it was my device being a bit older. However that is not the case. This was my favourite app and hopefully things get fixed 🥲
Another misleading app that is garbage unless you get duped in to paying repeatedly. I needed to do some simple clone edits on a photo, can’t with this app. Whole photo filters and artsy edits only if you sign up.
This was my favourite photo editing app and now it crashes/freezes every time I edit any photo. What happened?? Very upset to lose this app. It was the most reliable and had so many features. Now it’s completely useless ):

I’m disappointed with this new version of Afterlight due to the fact that I am not given that option to restore any of the features I had previously bought from the original one. To access all those features AGAIN just by purchasing the monthly/yearly subscription is quite unfair and I refuse to pay that. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please fix this issue and give people that option to restore/access any of those features they have already bought. Thanks!
Downloaded this after updating iOS and losing the original app because it’s no longer supported or being updated. I had purchased all the extra features in the original app, but in this one you have to pay a monthly subscription. I emailed the developer a week ago to see if there is a way to transfer my purchased features to the new app, never received a reply. I refuse to pay for features that I already paid for. The new app isn’t great, a lot of features are missing that the original had. I wish they’d just put out an update for the original. 🤦🏼♀️
Makes a beautiful women even more perfect than possible
So I’ve been working with this app for YEARS. As good as it gets, now the shut down glitches are more happening than ever. Sometimes I do a very basic change such as reframing or leveling the photo, then it all goes white, or even a small darkening turns the screen (not the photo) almost black. The worst bug is when you change filters to try the effects on your photo, it shuts down the whole app 40% of the time. Soooooo annoying . And if you want to experience the 100% shut down odds, you create a fusion, then you apply it on your photo, then you modify the shades or anything else, and go try create a new fusion from your modified fusion at the last step of the app, you’ll gets shut down automatically. Always . And I’ve contacted the admin many times, they don’t do much aside of asking if my device softwares is updated . They eventually respond after days, maybe weeks. Then they might ask for a screen shot of the problem you’ve been experiencing, but it’s very difficult to do so ne cause the shuts down are mostly random so you can’t really recreate the same “mistake” and get a proof of the shut down on screenshot ... Anyways . Good luck
The only thing that i miss is selective editing.
Easy to use and by far the best photo editor I’ve used so far from the App Store. Cleanly designed and has very comprehensive tools. Love it.
