They will charge 100-500 less than other airlines. But have pathetic services. They will try to loot your money during check-in and also will do their private security check even after security done in airport. Beware! stay away from their Akasa scammers Airlines

Unable to login in the App though I can login through web portal. One of the worst app. Also there is no response from the developers as seen on the reviews page in App Store.

Absolutely pathetic portal. I will be travelling for the first time tomorrow. I don’t know what is going to happen.

The App auto select the seats without actually asking and without any confirmation. Poor app design

I can’t even create a profile on the app as it throws an error when I submit my details and says user already exists. But when try to log in directly it says could not retrieve profile.. So which one is it Akasa, am I a registered user or not?

Payment was successfull but booking was not done and ultimately when I reached out customer care they informed that booking is cancelled and I have to wait for payment and there is issue with payment system. They knew there was issue with there app/payment system and still allowed booking, who cares about customer experience. As I was told to wait 7-10 working days for refund , I will update my experience after that. Day 1: cancelled booking is mysteriously disappeared from my booking. Make sure you take screenshots of pnr and payments.

Please test you app before you place it on apple play store. “Kadi khud bhi testing kar leya karo, ki sab customer se hi karwaoo ge”.

Functionally useful but UX can be improved

My experience with Akasa Air has been nothing short of frustrating due to their inefficiency, misinformation, and disorganized processes. Initially, I faced an issue with a refund for a canceled booking, where I was repeatedly misled. I was first told the refund would be processed within 7 working days. When I followed up after this period, I was informed that I needed to send an email—something that was never mentioned initially. After emailing, I was told it would take another 7–10 working days, and even then, I had to chase them again, only to be told to wait yet another 5 days for the refund to reflect. This endless cycle of delays, excuses, and poor communication is completely unacceptable. On top of this, I had another issue where I paid extra in advance for additional luggage, only to be told at the ticket counter that it wasn’t reflected in their system. I was asked to pay the amount again on the spot, with the assurance that the original payment would be refunded. This additional inconvenience further highlights Akasa Air’s incompetence, with glaring issues in both their customer service and internal systems. These experiences have been deeply frustrating and have shown a complete lack of accountability and professionalism. I would strongly advise against flying with Akasa Air, as their service is unreliable, disorganized, and highly unsatisfactory.

The app is so slow, cannot proceed with check in only the basic thing , made payment and it’s loading where my net speed was 512mbps
