Cluttered new look
A lovely app that isn’t really usable to me anymore as the interface is less easy to see with older eyes. It’s cluttered. Shame. Horrible flashing adds too are very distracting but not worth removing now. Was a good app

Had it for ages , just started using it. It's already helped me suggest scales to go with a given key. Not complaints but opinions here: Not so keen on the colour scheme , the 'Submit ' button would look nicer if a bit more towards a corner. But as the app goes i shall be upgrading for 'even more' scales! Fantastic free app! Couldn't wish for a better one!
Great app for all guitar players. But I was surprised that there's no drop C in alternate tunings, it's very popular in modern rock/metal music. Of course there's possibility to set custom tuning, the only problem is that if you do this, pages chords, triads and quiz still show everything in standard E tuning. If they fix it I will upgrade to full version and give it 5 stars:)
As the descriptor says for this app, you can input alternate tunings, but what it doesn't tell you in advance is that most features only work with Standard Tuning selected. I even upgraded to Guitar Reference, only to find this out. That is a rotten trick, be upfront with what your app won't do as well as what it will, please. Also the sound is patchy, of poor quality and only plays single notes, you can't strum a chord. There are better apps out there.
Rubbish app. After opening it does nothing, doesn't react to any touch input. Uninstalled.
It presents basic chords well. However, it doesn't show variations like sus or b5 chords. I prefer chord bank for this reason.
Works great for a freebie!
Ignore the daft comments about better apps and apps that play the notes - what you need from such an app is the chord shape in a variety of positions. This one is comprehensive and even tells you the notes so that you can see which notes is your flat or sharp whatever or your third etc so that you can emphasize it when improvising. Better than the web based programs I've been using. What more can you ask for when it's free?!
It's very good. However, you can't listen to the chords like you can on other apps. But there is a "free app of the day" section on this which is very good.
Nice little app :)
